Its quite funny how we have kept 17 clean sheets this year because apart from lees and westwood the rest are xxxx shite ! loovens would have been punished against better strikers yesterday twice !! and as for Hunt ffs we only play the xxxx because hes less shiter than palmer !!

CC was interviewed by Oggie while driving back after the game. He praised Town for stopping their transitional play.

No, its Andre Marriner for the second leg.

They clearly came and started 442 and even rotated the strikers in a attempt to win it.

Yes they were solid and didn't do too much attacking but I thinks that's more down to how we played rather than the tactics of CC

I'm with Wakey on this, you do your own team a disservice by only focusing on what we did or didn't do. We have kept nearly 40 clean sheets over the last 2 seasons, we don't concede a lot of goals period, and Carlos sets us up to be very tight, don't concede and you can't lose, this was no different from that perspective. But we do normally get forward a lot more, we do play a transition game particularly away from home, but on Sunday you stifled our midfield, we misplaced way too many passes and we really struggled to get anything going in the final third, that was down to your players closing us down effectively and stopping us from playing when we had the ball. We didn't play well on Sunday, we will need to do better on Wednesday if we want to progress and that will mean we have to get a hold in midfield to set up our forwards. This tie is still up for grabs, sure we are slight favorites due to being at home, but whichever team doesn't perform on the night is likely to be going on their holidays on Thursday!!!

Huddersfield Unexamined says it's Paul Tierney again. Marriner it is then.  Whistle  Doh  Sick  Angry  Blush  Sad  Laugh  Big Grin  Cool  Wink

But our penalty shoot out record is 100% successful, having won four out of four. Two of our goalscoring heroes from the last campaign, Hunt and Rhodes, are now at Sheffield Wednesday.
So if we don't win on Sunday, don't get stressed. We have more chance of winning it there in a penalty shoot out and then again at Wembley after a goalless 120 minutes.  Big Grin  Cool  Tongue  Smile  Wink  Rolleyes  Whistle  Smartass  Laugh  Blush  Confused  Sick  Doh
