Reported that this former Albion player aged just 44, collapsed yesterday.

Ugo died in hospital this morning.

That's awful news to log on to. Huge condolences to his family. Great young Albion player who went on to have a cracking career up the road. RIP Ugo.

Although Ugo only made two appearances for West Brom in seasons 1989-91, it is always sad to hear of the premature passing of anyone.

Very, very sad news.
Always an absolute rock, and apparently a truly nice man too.
Too true, BaggieVicar - how fragile is life, and how important is it to love those around you; you never know when it'll be too late.

I can forgive him leaving us for the vile because at that time there was a gulf between us ....... we have turned that right around and for now we are top dogs.

Very very sad news ..... no-one expects to die so young ...... thoughts and prayers to all his loved ones and RIP Ugo.
