My summary of today's game from the South Stand
The result we needed
Fantastic opportunist goal from FF after their goalie could only parry Rhodes shot.
Although it pains me to say a good cameo from Big Dave - Some good flick on headers and nimble footwork
A generally awful game to watch - obviously Colin's tactics at work. I think their defenders practised judo and wrestling all week and I'm surprid Fletcher's arm is still in its socket.
One of the worst set of officials I have ever seen who based on the tactics above still gave the majority of free kicks to them. At one point the ref did a great interception of a through pass resulting in Cardiff breaking with it and almost getting a scoring opportunity.
We obviously don't practice crossing in training - all the no pressure ones in the warm up were also utter ****.
But all we need to do is keep on grinding out wins and we can adjust in the summer. As long as we stay in the playoffs I think we can beat any of the other contenders.
