Well done lads. We won hopefully we can build from this. Nervy finish in the end....CC does love sitting on a lead and last year we kept going after goals in games like these.... going to be nail biting now till the end with Fulham and Derby.

How many home games do we have left this season ? Need to win them all.
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, you need a team....

3 home games left.

I'm pencilled in for the home game against Derby in two weeks. I don't think I can cope Laugh

Best game of the season. Proper entertainment with 2 good teams. Can't believe that was the same players as Tuesday night. Good night and God bless.

IMRES NO BULLSHIT RATINGS THAT NEVER GETS A REPLY! LEAST WHEN WE WIN? AND IS ONLY READ BY 19 GUESTS (WANKERS) AND ONE SILLY OLD TWAT

WESTWOOD...7Would have been my MOM but he gifted Shelvey a simple goal although it was only 50% of his fault it was a tame Goal for him to give away after such good work all through the game mostly with his passes on a plate for Hooper (Take note Bannan Whistle ).

HUNT....7Played well today but he does like to gift Free kicks around our box which makes him a complete liability still  Doh  and he wont get better or worse so we all know the answer  Whistle

LOOVENS...7 Held the back line well until he went off !!  that i missed for some reason  Huh

LEES...7Solid as a rock and scored a well deserved header only to gift Newcastle a free header and putting us in all kinds of trouble  Doh

PUDIL ...7 MOM for the cameras maybe ? i thought he played well and for a change didnt do anything stupid  Huh he is better than fox when he plays to his best !! but hes so up and down always that i just give up on him like Hunt  Doh

JONES...7 Played better today and was more controlled than tuesday but he did gift some silly balls to Newcastle again we are just going through the motions with him like the others ive mentioned  Doh

BANNAN...6 Played well for about 10 minutes and the tinted glasses brigade will only be able to digest this 10 minutes and not the other 80 were he was complete shite not once did he  a pass through to Hooper or Fletcher he put his own players in trouble with his passing backwards crap  and  his shooting was awful  Doh  and he gifted the ball more than 5 times to Newcastle who in the first 30 minutes just brushed him aside like the little dwarf he is and then i he had a flashback to the playoff final as yet again he found Diame in space only for Diame this time not to eat it up for breakfast  Whistle

WALLACE...7 Sent some good crosses in in the second half and caused Newcastle problems in the first half  Thumb up Unlike when he never gets involved whatsoever  Whistle

REACH...3COM (COCK OF THE MATCH) What a complete waste of 5 million pound  Angry  a feffing headless chicken who for some reason can do nothing wrong in CCs eyes  Doh  WTF have we done  Doh  5 million ffs  Angry

HOOPER ...8 MOM for me in the first half he set up 2 on a plate for COLIN WEST if only they had fell to Fessi  Doh who i believe his his only partner and we should go back to square one and start playing them up there again as when he westwood and Fessi click its goal time also with the lack of anything from midfield  Doh this seems to be our only Arsenal  Whistle Westwood Hooper Fessi 3 passes goal  Thumb up anyway back to Hooper who played well but obviously was fucked after 60 minutes due to drinking to much ale and eating too many yorkshire puddings  Doh  because what has he been doing if not training to be fit ? at least breath a bit ffs  Doh

Fletcher ....6 Missed two complete sitters and then scored a wonder goal 3 in two games is a good ratio but will he keep it up ? i doubt it and the problem is now is that hes picked himself against Cardiff as CC also worships him the same as Reach  Doh

SASSO ...6 Coped well with the late Newcastle push ? he must have been sober today ?

SEMI...6Got some good tackles in and again did the job the manager asked him to do which was run down the clock and not give space  Thumb up

RHODES.....6 Im positive he won us the first goal !! as Newcastle were to busy marking him to be bothered with lees  Thumb up also worked well with Fletcher just a shame he wasnt given some of the chances that we fluffed in the first half  Doh

CC...6 A bad team selection in the way of why bench Rhodes and why play Reach  Doh  but he got away with it thanks to Hooper who if had not played so good then we would be talking about yet another lackluster Hillsborough performance  Doh  but he did and we played ok at least a lot better than what we have been playing this season !! although its still not a whisker on last seasons performances . and lets face it Newcastle didnt realy give a shit as they are all ready up  Whistle Newcastle were not good and CC wants to be sharper on Friday as wanker comes to town to put his bus on the line cheat and try and pinch all 3pts in the name of sheffield united  Doh

Really enjoyed today's game for a change. I'm almost glad we didn't score the great chances we had in the first half because we'd have had more time to mess it up. We did try our best to chuck it but having said that their goal looked like a clear foul on Lees followed by a bit of a whoopsy from Westwood, but hey ho, all's well that end well. I can only assume Pudil got man of the match because he kept Matt Ritchie quiet, unnless you can win it for taking long throws that lead to goals now!

Imre, I'm not sure why you're so down on the lads today, I thought they all put in a good shift and thoroughly deserved the win, if only for the first half performance on it's own. I know Reach is not everyone's cup of tea but I thought he did ok today and the main thing he does is add pace and energy to the side. Yes, he's not the best technically but he shows a good attitude and never stops running.

I thought Fletcher and Hooper gave their back line a pretty tough time in the first half, especially Hooper, and it's a shame Fletcher missed the 2 best chances we created, although he made up for it with a great header for the winner. Surprisingly, that's 9 for him this season, I believe, which is not bad going considering he's not been a regular starter. I'm not saying I didn't expect a bit more from him this season but I'm hoping he's coming good at just the right time.

What a legend Semedo is. He'd only been on the pitch 2 minute before he'd wound Ritchie up with his sneaky little tugs and barges. Ritchie was fuming with him and it was no surprise they hooked him not long after. I love Semi when he does stuff like that and does that thing where he draws fouls by just slowing down at the right time to cause players to run into him. It's much better than when he tries to pass it!

All in all a good day. And my telly has packed in just in time to stop me seeing United get promoted! I didn't want us to get in the playoffs because I don't think I can stand the strain but when I think about how much I hate derby games I hope we steamroller the next few weeks and take Wembley by storm so we can avoid playing the grunters.

I'd agree with that, most of them played well. A few mistakes but no more than Newcastle made.

Reach was definitely not at his best, mugged for possession a few times too easily

Thanks for the reply floppys Thumb up it was a bit of a shock so i sat in a dark corner for 10 minutes Whistle but heres your answer to what i hope could spark off a debate maybe on a football forum Huh instead of saying its not black or white with no substance to back it up ( like any old pig fan fcough someone ) .... anyway back to the wankers Thumb up

And im so down on them because i believe weve got the biggest bloody wage bill apart form the ex prem teams in the league and week in week out for many games lets say 7 on the trot or something like that ? do the same shit and do not seem to get better Angry and are only consistent at doing the same bloody cheap bastard mistakes week in week out Angry maybe thats the coaches fault though Whistle and maybe Bannan doesnt shoot in training and maybe Reach doesnt shoot in training and maybe Fletcher Fessi Hooper blah blah blah dont shoot in training Whistle maybe Bannan doesnt pass in training a through ball lets say ? maybe Reach doesnt cross in training and maybe Hunt doesnt try not to give free kicks away in training ..... get the jist Whistle

Either its the players because this is a season im talking about or the coach who i can only say coach to save him grace because he as proven hes a shit manager with his pathetic signings Doh

And like yourself i im now wanting the playoffs as if we play a Derby game this year we will lose due to what i have described or tried too above Thumb up and i truly believe we wont make it past the semis and we are fucked lets hope we have a manager not a xxxx coach of spine when we do battle with the Pigs next season Doh
