Im not even going to attempt to calculate Caldwells win percentage although i guess its less than 10 %.I still think its too early to judge and my opinion hasn't changed after a narrow defeat at a team who have won their last nine home games, so no disgrace there.I was half expecting a pasting after they got the second but we stuck in there and almost salvaged a point from nothing .Its good to see us finishing well under Caldwell something we arent used to but we need to perform for ninety minutes .
As for the apparent transfer debacle he has done the decent thing and admitted they were his decisions and not CT's.
It was galling to see that at one stage not one of his 6 January signings were on the pitch .
Having said that his one permanent signing Stuckmann has been superb.

Blue, only you could put positive spin on another loss. 3 shots against 23, players out of position. Just face it he really is a crap manager. He finally plays dimaio then because he has 2 good games and gets an international call up and he gets dropped onto the bench. The guy is a plank. The sooner he goes the better.

Doesn't look good does it? 1 win 12 games and 8pts from a possible 36, a win ratio of 8.3%.
Problem is we can't keep sacking managers because then we have no stability but it does feel like we've gone backwards under Caldwell. We have to accept we are relegated and will be playing L2 football next season so the results are irrelevant and all the fans probably want to see now is a bit of fight and hopefully a few good matches with our youth players.
What is worrying is the future of the club. Will we get a buyer?

Dancing Id understand you saying he was a crap manager if this was his first job but he actually won this divison with Wigan Athletic last season and yes you can argue he had one of the biggest budgets but money is no guarantee to success .Look at Sheff U and Portsmouth for example ,the biggest budgets in the divisions but struggled .I honestly believe if we can get a decent recruitment guy to help him we can recruit well and go into next season with renewed hope even with the current owner in place .

What difference will a "recruitment guy" make. Its Caldwell who picks the team and tactics. A back 3 of Donohue Anderson and Mcginn FFS. He then puts our best defender in midfield. Then he wonders why we go 2 goals down in a short space of time and spend the rest of the game chasing it. If he is still here next season, "were doomed I tell thi"

Caldwell has made two permanent signings. I think one of them has become one of the Libyan Disappeared.
Don't be fooled by Stuckmann. He has ability. He is the best penalty saver around (and he needs to be playing behind Anderson). And penalties are a very real ability, not just a run of fortune. He also tends to be popular with fans (because he's very big & makes some dramatic saves etc .....) but Doncaster fans loved him all the way to relegation. He did okay at Preston but remained behind keepers who weren't stars, Partick released him (couldn't get a game behind their Czech keeper). He never played for, or got near a good team in Germany. BUT my biggest argument isn't with him at all, it's if he's in goal what the fkcfku is Fulton doing on the bench ..... what the fkcukuc are we paying him for? Send him home! I COULD SIT DOWN FOR US!
Caldwell hasn't much option but to admit his sins, even Donald Trump would have stopped the bluster by now.
Matt has it absolutely right. Losing with the current random select is senseless. We should be looking to the future. What happened to the managerial footballing philosopher? We ended the game lumping the ball up to Anderson at centre forward.
We are paying these loan boys to win us 8.3% of our games! We are paying for that! We have enough players to send out a team without them. So stop paying to lose. We can do it cheaper and learn something too.

I dont think we are strong enough especially in midfield .For me donohue isnt a central midfielder and and neither is he a central defender hence the crap header which led to their first goal .his second mistake in two games leading to a goal .Nolan is loved by loads but again he gets beaten too easily for me and just doesnt contribute enough ,same with Hird in midfield.Caldwells tinkering doesnt help hes trying to be too clever and he doesnt have the players to play his preferred style. However he is right when he says regardless of formations a player needs to do the basics right and some of them cant even do that .
We need a big clearout in the summer .

Pooch, you've never said a truer word. Caldwell is looking for a solution that isn't there. He's desperately making a word at Scrabble and he hasn't got a vowel (or he's left them all in the reserve bag).
He might rearrange what he had in his eighteen players yesterday to make a poor team instead of a terrible one. That's what Danny was trying to do too.
If Dancing never turned over his soil, never fed it and didn't look out for slugs his Delphiniums would range from straggly to dead. Caldwell has to turn over the soil, get the weeds in a trug, summer's coming. We need some green shoots - one of whom is tall, young and black and when he shoots he sometimes scores four!
And by the way Dancing, I have to agree about our sale. You surely only ask an impossible price if you don't want to sell? To be fair I'm guessing DA reached this position without a proper plan, for sure he didn't have an end game. Like a lot of us (and Donald Trump) he makes it up on the hoof. I think he and therefore we are painted into a corner and the blue ball is about to go down the pocket ...........

I think the january signing were rushed and not very well researched regardless of who made the decision they were signed to appease the fans .can you imagine if we had made no signings at all there would have been uproar.in the summer more time will be taken to find the right players.thats the time to judge .
