Where's Billy Jones
#1
When he deserted the Baggies and joined the Black Cats he was quoted as saying that he was joining a much bigger club Thumb down

Not only are bigger club Sunderland struggling in the Premiership but, I notice that Billy has played only one league game for them.
He's not even on the bench for tonight's game against Colin's men.

Is he injured?

Is he off form?

Is he wishing he'd stayed with us? Huh

Silver, well spotted that Billy 'Sicknote' Jones hasn't featured since the Black Cats defeated Sjoke over a month ago.

I think 'Silly' Billy made the wrong choice when he decided to reject us for that 'massive' club in the north east were he's a bit time player in the odd minor cup game, makes the tea and runs errands for the senior players.

Actually, 'Greedy' Billy is injured yet again at the moment. Didn't he spend half his time with us on the treatment table? As it turns out with Gamboa and 'Norman' vying for the right back position, 'Hairy' Billy did us a favour buggering off to Blunders !

One of my work colleagues is a Sunderland season ticket holder. Says they are less than impressed with Billy the Kid's defensive qualities and can't understand why they bought him. Strange how some players seem to fit in at one club but not in another.

How many players have left the Albion and gone onto better things?

I can think of Bryan Robson
Lawrie Cunningham

Given they've already scored about four own goals this season and two of them were all-time clangers for the ages, what is this mythical standard of superhuman defending that Sunderland fans expect of Billy Jones?!  I'd have thought the fact that he hasn't yet slammed the ball into the top corner of his own net from thirty-five yards out would make him a candidate for the captain's armband by now!

Blimey, a player is getting a lot of stick for giving his all for the club and honouring his contract. Life goes on and people move. I think he moved in a respectable way and didn’t cause a fuss. I thought he was a very good right back that wanted another challenge and earn more money - what is wrong with that??? I give you George Thorne and Peter Odemwingie as alternative examples...
