Back to a midweek game for the visit of Brentford. This is a game we should win and certainly we need the win to take some pressure off the game at the weekend. A nice gap has appeared below us and we need to keep winning to maintain that gap, plus the playoff places have all bunched back together and with the Village playing Reading midweek we have the chance to close the gap on one or both of them.

This will only be our 36th meeting and we hold the edge with 13 wins to their 9. At ho,e we have 7 wins to their 4 and have now won the last 2 games at home without conceding a goal. Last season we ran out 4-0 winners, helped by them going down to 10 men after 5 mins!!! Goals from Forestieri, Hooper, Lee and Joao saw us coast home.

THE LAST MATCH

I think this was a good away win. The penalty certainly seemed to swing the game in our favor and when a team like Forest miss a pen and then concede almost immediately their heads will go down. I was good to see us capitalize on this and not just settle for one goal but get the second as well. Keeps the run going, 4 wins on the trot and we are right in the mix of things in the playoffs now.

Not sure where we stand on Hooper and Lees, anyone have any updates?? I would like to see us put a full strength team out for this one and go and win the three points. I would prefer to see 2 up front with FF floating in from the left, the rest of the team should be attack minded as well.  Here is my team:

It's a good run we're on despite not being pretty we are racking up points another win here sets us up nicely putting pressure on those dirty bastards for Saturday.
Could be tricky midweek against Brentford, we'll have tired legs and unlikely to field first 11 with Saturday in view. Either way we should be picking up at least a point here.
