UP FOR SALE - is that news?

Somehow if Kev were in a position of power I suspect we would have a lot fewer injured players at the club. I think he'd be big on us identifying the difference between the niggles he just played through and potentially serious injuries that could lose us an important player for the season. I always thought there was a functioning brain behind Kevin Davies which in partnership with genuine business experience might just turn out to be more than a straw for this drowning man.

Let it be.

(Let's hope the For Sale sign is not just another power trip for Mr Allen.)

Could we cease to exist?

If we don't find a buyer before next season.

Ah ok no idea and neither do many others so i wont worry about something that probably won't happen.
Caldwell is key to all this. If he can turn it round on the pitch then we possibly stay in the division and remain an attractive proposition .If we go down then we adjust the budget accordingly and his recruitment will be vital. As long as I see some promise on the pitch I will be happy to renew my ticket at the same price.
If there is some information coming out of the club that I have missed then I apologise

Would you renew your season ticket at the same price if we are in L2?

No information coming out of the club. I'm just saying what happens if we get relegated or stay in L1 and don't find a buyer for next season? Will DA still keep the club going till a buyer is found? The other week AC said the club is living hand to mouth.

Yeah i will renew like i said if i see positivity on the pitch and to some extent off it .
To be honest I am not big on making opinions about what goes off behind the scenes as I am not privy to the reasons behind the decision making and a lot of what is spouted it is pure speculation.I try to only comment on what I see on the pitch .
I like Caldwell's language, he is a positive talker and has a vision ,I really hope he succeeds.

I'd love Caldwell to succeed but what happens on the field is largely irrelevant.

The key is what is going on inside Mr Allen's head and what he really wants to do. I doubt if even Mr Carson really knows that.

Mr Allen is responsible for our current plight BUT he's also been responsible for a lot of things that seemed good and hopeful. He's in a position to behave like the Oystons or become our Abrahamovic if he wants. He can sell us or turn down every offer. He could become our own Mr Scrooge or even call in our debt and put us out of our misery.

For all we know Mr Allen may have been given 18 months to live, is sorting out his affairs and realises that publicly revealing his illness would not be a great negotiating strategy if he wants the best price ......

Anyone been reading Bob's Board about this Swedish Consortium who supposedly put a bid in for the club?

Supposedly is a good word.
What puzzles me is the fact that Carson has now said the asking price is 10 million which would lead any prospective buyer to offer less as a starting point.
