Gary Monk is right in recognising the values of "humility, respect and class". But he'll never have come across it at the skip. No humility, no respect and no class - that's them!

There are certain clubs that seem to turn their players and particularly their managers into paranoid, everyone is against us complainers!!! Monk was ok from what I have seen in the past, but now he has become a typical manager at Bellend Road, no class and always someone else's fault!!

What a day, what a week !

Again we were superb, a different type of game to Thursday, W33ds vastly improved since our last meet, their midfield tried to impose themselves close Mooy & Hogg down at every chance. Slowly we got to grips with their bustle, they were decent make no bones about that but once Brown came on we had the attacking edge as he went through the gears and had CQ taken just 1 of 3 good chancses the scoreline could have been 3 easily. They tired and we had the fitness to keep the ball going wide, Hogg was immense 2nd half cleaning up and doing the dirty work and tough tackles for a full 45, Lolley caused them issues with his running replacing a disappointing VLP , Smith again getting forward excellent, Ward barely threatened, 2 centre halfs bar their equaliser were strong.

An element of fortune for Heffs winner but it was no more than we deserved, W33ds has settled for a point early on threatening just once in the 2nd half and we just had to believe we could create a winning chance.

Wagners celebration was excellent in our context of the derby, perhaps OTT and he and Gary Monk-on might just get their nuckles wrapped overt the next few days. That bad blood would add extra spice should there be another meeting this year.

The cordon behind the Riverside last only 5 mins and about 2000 did a U turn by the bridge and had the joy ( could have been a bit tense had the police presence not been so large) to give it some to the waiting coachloads of glum visitors.

Heff celebrated to the max, F bombs allover the media what a player !

The bloke with the Turkish flag a well known 50 odd year old timer wasnt necessary, reckon club might ban him as they carted him off.

The day capped off with an outstanding Green Day gig at the First Direct arena this evening just topped off a great week.

Work tomorrow is gonna be a right pisser.

Why is it the people causing trouble are always 50 year old ex-hooligans chasing the 1980s. Struth, they need to grow the xxxx up. Hope he's banned for life. Disgusting. I loved that bust-up did anyone else? Proper passion for a proper derby.

Brilliant thread m'Lud Thumb up

What a fantastic week that was. I would have snapped your hand off for 4 points from those 2 games....but to get 6!!! Unbelievable Geoff.
We were superb all game v Brighton....3-1 flattered them tbh.
And against Dirty L666s, it was a fairly even 1st half. But 2nd half we battered them and fully deserved to win. I really can't see that lot being involved in the playoffs at the end of the season. Was not impressed with them at all.

Though we need to get summat down at QPR next week. And then the home game v Reading is going to be massive.

I think Norwich could now claim that 6th spot. They seem to have shrugged off their bad spell, and a long bad spell at that, and are still in 7th. Could make 6th tonight.
Despite doing the double over us, Wednesday are dreadful. If they make the play offs, I'd be surprised. Not surprised enough to eat my hat, but really don't rate them.
Leeds probably will
We will definitely make it. Top two not out of the question, the way we're playing. Can we keep it up? Next two games are vital to keep it going.

Well snoots, if we win all our remaining games we deserve to go up dont we? Wink

In all seriousness, top 2 isnt out of the question. Sheff wed seem to be able to grind out a win and i think they'll stay in the top 6. I thought reading would stumble and splutter and they still might, but it would be a dramatic fall away. The top 2 teams in newcy and brighton, i think newcy will hold on, theyve got enough quality and really theyve brought their way out of the league, brighton may be stumbling, we'll know more after they play burton. That leaves us and leeds, now I thought that we would fall away this week with brighton and leeds, i thought we could struggle to bounce back, but they proved otherwise, just got to keep it up. As for leeds are they going to fall away? They have some big games coming up. One or two teams will emerge from the pack and i think they'll be norwich and derby, i think someone will miss out by a point or even goal difference, us and reading are the ones who lack there.

Looking at our fixtures we still have reading, Norwich, newcy and derby to play, 3 of which are at home. Barnsley are still up and around and we have to go there, plus our bogey sides in brizzle and brentford. Could be a tense finish once again in the final game of the season, just this time it could be to go up rather than down!

Does anyone get the feeling that JASOG may have a man crush, not being able to get over quaners legs? Wink
