Shit storm ahead then. Oh well...it was nice to be free of their stench while it lasted. Peter Lawwell no doubt trying to engineer a celtic park semi even as I type.

No doubt all the stayaways will be clamouring for tickets.

Should be a sell out with sons of Struth etc clambering for tickets. IMO, will be an easy win for Celtic, based on current form. Thoughts please.

It is far too early to make any predictions, except to repeat what I have said heretofore.

If Rangers play the fast, on-the-deck, overlapping, interpassing, ball to feet or into space that one of our players is running into type of football that I have seen Rangers play, then we should fear no other team.

But if Ally opts for the hoofing 'tactics' I saw Rangers use against Hibernian, then Celtic might as well book their place in the final now.

That was in the bad old days (for me) Fred, when all I had, living in England, was the MSM.
It was very rare for me to see a Rangers game then, just the occasional Old Firm on the BBC, or in the pub, if it was on SKY.

Thanks to the streams I have been able to see most games this season, hence my comments on the play.

We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. And based on current form when we play well we look a decent side. Nice to be involved in another semi final albeit the mickey mouse cup.

A cup's a cup for me. The aim is still to beat all the teams you come up against in it. I'm not really sure where the derision for league cups in the UK comes from. If anything they're a more elite version of the national cups as they don't have dozens of non league clubs to provide cannon fodder.

Having said all that, I agree that we don't really have much to lose. Unless we get absolutely hammered a defeat to Celtic given the difference in league placing and finances will merely be a failure to overturn great odds. On paper we don't have much chance, even playing at full strength. On the other hand...if we win it'll be Celtic's most humiliating OF defeat ever. From that point of view, it's a great draw for us.
