Must of missed this, but Albion yesterday "officially" responded to Speroni's "comments"

What were these? I can summise, but anyone shed any light on it.

This was albions "official" response.

He basically said Dawson intended to injure him.

This is a piece of (I think) a bigger article, including a quote of Speroni's from the Croydon Advertiser:

Speroni says he didn’t know who the offender was until he watched the replay back on television and says it could have been even worse had Dawson caught him elsewhere on his head.

“I am really disappointed with the whole situation – I can’t understand how he got away with it really," the goalkeeper said.

“The fact this guy (Dawson) just ran from outside the six-yard box just towards me with no intention whatsoever of playing the ball and elbow me like that.

“Somebody has to do something. There has been no apology from him and it disappoints me. I was expecting something from the guy.

“It is hard to see these things not getting punished. What are people waiting for? I was quite lucky – if he caught me in a different area it could have been a lot worse than it was.”

Intersestingly there was another article from a Palace supporter that balances it up - IMO this writer takes a very welcome view of this and 'over protection of goalkeepers'....

Replays show Dawson had his eyes on the ball the whole way. End of story for me.

It also seems Colin has been speaking to Clattenburg after the game via a mobile phone,

Thus breaking more rules which states any correspondence after a game if required must be listened to why all match officials are present.

Clattenburg also broke the rules of engagement and has been withdrawn from the fixtures this weekend.

How is it Colin keeps breaking all these rules and regulations and always seems to get away with it Huh
