IT may not have been the England performance any of us wanted to see but my word it was just the game that Joe Hart needed. 4 brilliant saves tonight and that one from the corner that he saved with one hand and pushed away with the other is as good a save as anyone will see all season. Maybe that will get the vultures off his back.
The rest of the team...Meh! Apart from one error in the second half I thought Cahill was ok, Dier had a nightmare 1st half. Sturridge trying to score goal of the season half the time. For all the flack Rooney receives we do miss him and if anyone needs dropping the Scotland match its Theo Walcott, rightly subbed last night after adding near enough nothing and thinking about it..the only time I knew he was playing on Friday was when they subbed him so that tells you how poor he was then as well IMO.
