A couple of bets today as we start our 16/17 season seriously.

Blackburn v Ipswich

This should be a low corners match. Rovers' home corners have been 10-13-7-10-4 this season while the Tractor Boys away corners have been 10-7-10-4-11. Bet TWO Points on Under 10.5 Corners at 8/11.

The weather improved enough to allow 90% of the field to complete their third round yesterday with just the leaders still to finish. Johnson Wagner leads by one on -15 from Kizzire & Piercey. Other notables include Casey -13, Mickelson -9, Thomas -9, Rahm -7, Bradley -4, Lee -3, Kuchar -2 (MC), Kaufman +2 (MC), Simpson +3 (MC).

Emiliano Grillo 22/1 -6 Tied 29th
Justin Thomas 25/1 -9 Tied 10th
Martin Laird 66/1 -12 5th

A decent day for our guys. Laird is well placed to challenge for the trophy today while a second consecutive 66 has shot Thomas up the leaderboard.

Tommy Fleetwood 30/1 -13 Tied 4th

Brendan Steele won by one on -18 from Kizzire. Other notables include Casey -16, Na -15, Thomas -14, Mickelson -14, Rahm -12, Bradley -10, Lee -7,

Emiliano Grillo 22/1 -9 Tied 26th
Justin Thomas 25/1 -14 Tied 8th
Martin Laird 66/1 -14 Tied 8th

A great run for our money but Thomas' putting let him down while Laird ran out of gas at the death.

An open field with Casey, Reed, Matsuyama & Scott co favourites at 14/1. Prefer to go with players with some course form and/or current form so my five to beat the field are:

Ryan Moore 16/1
Justin Thomas 18/1
Kevin Na 22/1
Gary Woodland 33/1
Danny Lee 175/1

Good Luck!
