I`ve started buying The Non-League Paper this season and I see that somebody called Luke Shaw got a couple for Coalville Town yesterday. Is that the same Luke Shaw who played for us a couple of years ago? (You`ll probably know, Dev.) I also see that Dents got a couple for Alfreton as well. Good on `im.
PS Please ignore the above nonsense; it was Lee Shaw who played for us, wasn`t it. D`oh. I`ll go and stand in the corner and face the wall.

Now that's another silly punishment to rival the wife wielding a rolling pin. Standing in the corner for a lapse in memory can only have one conclusion. Eventually you are going to forget why you were there in the first place.
Did our website ever publicise Denton going off to Alfreton? I've forgotten. Which corner was I meant to stand in. Hands on head? Was that the juvenile version of waterboarding in case you you came in contact with the CIA in later life?

Jay O'Shea missed a penalty as his team, Brisbane Roar, lost in the semi-final of the Australian Cup. His team was later awarded a second penalty which Charlie Austin, yes that Charlie Austin, blasted home.
Jay O'Shea is Brisbane Roar's captain. I must admit I thought a character transplant would have been necessary before Jay captained anything ....... shows what I know. Imagine, Jay O'Shea, who liked nothing better than hiding when he didn't feel much like it captaining a bunch of Aussies. Mind you they did finish next to the bottom last season.
Also noticed that Ricky German, who I thought was going to be Chesterfield's next big thing, is now a player at Chesham United who currently sit third in the Premier South Division of the Southern League. He's physically strong, fairly fast for his size, and can play a bit, but despite all my kind words he's only really ever shown when he scored 20 goals by Christmas for Hendon which won him at three-year deal at Crawley. He joined the Grenada international squad and didn't impress enough to take the field. If Grenada selected me, I'd be doing everything I could to impress and stay there - a charming, fascinating island.
For every young player I've come up with who I thought could breakthrough I have to admit I can find another who sank with very little trace.

Sheri out at Oldham after this Saturday's game at Eastleigh.
They've noticed they need a manager who knows about the National League and its players. They are full of love and praise for him, but even in slow motion a sack's a sack.

Miller has become an Ex-spire. By mutual consent. Clearly had some skill. Thought processes, if any, beyond inscrutable.

Exeter City, like Vlad Putin, are hovering a finger over the nuclear button, only in their case it's self-destruct. They've appointed GARY CALDWELL as manager.
Like the Daleks they should never have trusted The Master. They regenerated in the National League once before, but it's getting harder year on year.

Danny Rowe hits 35-yard rocket shot winner for Fylde.
Diego de Girolamo scores and is Man of the Match for Buxton in a 1-4 win at Southport for whom Cameron Mason was benched as sub keeper - mistake?
Manny Dieseruvwe nets for Halifax again as they beat Oldham.
Morsy nets late for Ipswich but they still only draw 4-4 at Charlton.
Liam Cooper takes a trip over the Pennines to Anfield and keeps Mo Salah et al quiet. There's hope for us all.

Josef Yarney has signed for Oldham after a successful trial. I'm very pleased he's not dropped out of football after the experience with us. Hope he does well, except when he plays us.

Gavin Gunning is in temporary charge at Swindon after Scott Lindsay upped sticks for Crawley.
Whoever plays against Swindon in the next few weeks is in in for some bruises.
