Very good performance today. They weren’t up to much but we went about our job efficiently. We have a decent defence and a great attack, but nothing in the middle of the two!!! That is where our focus should be this summer, we need someone alongside Bannan!!

I would personally cash in on bannan if any offer comes in. Tried for three seasons to have a team around and it just doesnt work. He doesnt chip in with enough goals imo. His crossing, shooting and three kicks are questionable. Might be a good back up if we can get some quality in.

Wouldn’t disagree with any of that!! Bannan needs a skillful player next to him to allow him to run forward with the ball, which is his best attribute, but if we can get a few million for him I would be ok with it. At the moment he is still head and shoulders above the rest of our midfielders, so the only downside to selling him is we might need to get 3 or so players in midfield anyway, which will be tough!!

Just seen that Sunderland are now down even though they are 6 points behind with 2 to play because next week Burton play Bolton, so no matter the result, one of them will go to at least 41 points. Another PL side drops straight through after Blackburn, Wolves and Wigan!!!

Good to see Maghoma scored the winner for Brum today. Playoffs still on for the blunts but even though its only 3 points separating them all its now the fact that there are 4 teams between the blunts and 6th spot that makes it less likely that all of them will have worse results than them. Don’t want them in the POs at all, they have over achieved this season so wha them to have no chance of going up!!

End of the season affair today. Reading aren't safe but didn't seem too bothered until they were 3 down. Would give most players 6 today with FF getting a 7 for his 2nd goal.

DAWSON...7Dint have that much todo thanks to Readings being the worst outfit that ive seen at Hillsborough this season apart from Reading at Hillsborough in the Fa cup that is but he commanded his box well and wasnt afriad to come of his line along with being quite calm and not flapping at everything and it actually looked like we had a Goalkeeper in the net

summary of the back 3 is that yet again today they where a good solid unit helped out by Hunt when needed 99% perfect today and all should be considered in next seasons first team


HUNT...8Got up and down as wingback well until his injury which will probably see him sit out the last 2 games (god know palmer at wolves ) hes been one of the best players in the team this year after a feffing nightmare of a season the one before well done to him because hes had to come through alot of stick from me and most of the fans at time most improved player of the year

BANNAN ..7Too many times today and over the last 2 seasons he slows play to a halt when the people infront of him dont get into perfect posistions for a pass he waits and turns around with the backpass for me the space is so tight now in football that you are not going to be abale to get so much space upfront so he should be trying his luck more! he did controll the game but against a piss poor outfit if we are to keep him as king pin then you cant have players like minge in the team we need two more better quality midfielders! now lee is one but we cant rely on him due to injurys niether can we hutch im with dubia on this id sell him on if the price is right because i cant see us winning enough games playing with him and his style as the sysytem and joss has fell hook line and sinker for it as it has been his only option and after suffering Buttercup and Jones he must think Bannan is the best thing since sliced bread because to me he certainley looks like it and i know the score

BOYD...6He couldnt be arsed to move in the first half he cant defend as a wingback therefor hes not a very good one sent a good cross into Rhodes though who missed! and in the second half decided to have a go and it paid off with a well times goal from a perfect reach cross a better performance today but unfortunatly i do see any point in him even being on the bench next season if we are going to try and get promoted ? we are stuck with him though as Charlie says

Summary of the midfield is the same old as every other week before and lucky for us in the first 20 minutes we wernt playing Wolves as they were all to deep chasing the ball but after that Reading packed in and everyone got there flip flops out Bannan plays on his jacks Reach adds the pace and the rest just tagg along Hunt played well today at wingback but if this is the system we need two faster better quailty wingbacks Reach being one yes but whos going to cover ? the middle of the park needs big money throwing at it and players need showing the door others a place on the bench


RHODES...5Lost to the system yet again he had one half chance and that was it played on his own upfront for most of the first half and in the second was spotted putting sun cream on Festers back

FESTER ...9 MOM Like most he played with flip flops on for most of the game but the difference being hes is very good with whatever he plays in two brilliant strikes at goal no feffing about and the Reading keeper was caught in slow motion rewind twice one he made for himself with pure determination lets hope Clownisri sticks to his guns about not selling because this lad is a world apart from the rest

Summary of the strikers is that we are in good knick but if Rhodes is to play a part then play to his strengths or dont bother playing him as we have enough !
