Managed to hang on but agree, didn't we make hardwork of that!
Need to play more positively on Wednesday

Carlos came for a 0-0 and got it.

IMRES NO BULLSHIT RATINGS SUNDAY MORNING AT 8 OCLOCK FFS!
WESTWOOD....7Nothing to do but controlled the backline well unlucky for him Fletcher isnt Hooper  Whistle
HUNT....7Played well for him made a few mistakes but when the opposition have 82% of the ball its to be expected  Thumb up
LOOVENS....6Made two mistakes that on another day lets say against Fulham or Reading who have decent strikers  Whistle would have cost us dear Thumb down But even he gets credit today as he was constantly talking and moving his defence around  Thumb up
LEES...8 MOM FOR US THAT IS  Whistle Solid as a cock pumped full with viagra  Thumb up
PUDIL...7Played well on his own in the first half as Reach offered no protection whatsoever  Doh and used his head well in drawing fouls that didnt exist  Thumb up
BANNAN...7Terrible first half and sat back way to deep at times but he like Pudil showed hes been around the block a bit getting control of the situation in the second half and he nearly scored a Bannan corker  Thumb up
LEE....7Defended well although today he couldnt switch defence into attack this is what we will need at Hillsborough and im positive he will do it and will probably be on the scoresheet  Thumb up
REACH....5Utter rubbish left a massive gap in the first half and gave to many cheap balls away in the second i hope i wont see him ever again in a wednesday shirt (meaning he wont play the next 2 games and if we get there to the premiership CC will realise hes not got what it takes  Thumb down
WALLACE...6lets face it hes not a defender is he? and we didnt have the ball up top for more than 3 seconds so what can we ask of him? he did get one lovely ball in the box but it fell to Reach who waited for it instead of attacking it  Doh the first thing you teach kids when heading crosses in at goal  Angry
FLETCHER...5I knew this would happen  Doh  as soon as Hooper broke in half he was sent to do the ball winning show! he is not a ball winner (Nuhiu is better at this than him ) Fletcher is a goalscorer which was proved in April when he was played as one  Whistle in fact the only month he was played as a striker he was player of the month with goals  Doh so either play him as a striker or dont play him at all  Thumb down
FESSI...6Poor sod all season hes been praying to play with hooper again and its not happened! he may as well not play if hes going to play with Fletcher they dont gel simple Fletcher ends up playing out of position and he sits on his arse bored waiting for the ball  Doh Drop Reach and play Fessi on the left Huddersfield will shit themselves  Thumb up

JONES...7 Came on and shored up the midfield freeing Bannan also he helped out Hunt who was Dizzy at by this time  Thumb up
RHODES....6Looked a better prospect of being the new Hooper than Fletcher even with only 3 or 4 touches he blew Fletcher away  Thumb up i think hes won the string slot on wednesday or should do anyway  Doh
WINNALL...5 The game had already finished we wanted the draw more than the win a striker cannot be judged without any chances on goal  Thumb up

CC...8 He set his stall out to keep a clean sheet at any cost and he got it his subs also worked out well jones being the masterstroke today from him  Thumb up he must have fetched in his pants at the final whistle  Laugh

Summary  Smartass
Huddersfield probably deserved to win it 1-0 with that Loovens flap  Doh But they have no firepower in front of goal only a few Rappers and disco singers  Whistle they huffed and puffed and played exactly into our game plan  Smartass Wereham mentioned we will have to go forward more at Hillsborough (which we will) but we also dont have to get inpatient as Huddersfield will play the same as we did today  Sleeping we have to finish the few chances we will get and stay calm and victory will be ours  Thumb up

on another note glad to see Hull relegated they didnt deserve to go up last season what a shower of shit fans !!! now they can drop back to the 4th division hopefully as no decent manager will touch em with a barge pole !! wankers get in !!!

The game was exactly as I thought it would be Thumb up utter shit Doh but the result CC wanted Confused

I agree with Imre about these two legged affairs. In fact they'd be better off just playing extra time and missing out the first two games Laugh

Got to get Hutch back in the middle and if it means bannan moving to the right of midfield then so be it we need to be solid in the middle for the first half on wednesday night ! the last thing we need is a soft underbelly like we had today for a while at least Doh Fessi is either on the left or in a 3 man attack aswell if Hooper doesnt figure same goes for Fletcher hes either the striker or leave him out Thumb down strangely enough everything has fallen into place with our players if only we had another 10 games to play we would have won the league Whistle meaning we no whos shit and whos good and what to expect like Reach is shit and expect nothing Thumb up Fletcher does this and fessi does that !!

My worry about Hutch is that after this layoff the enthusiasm he has might lead to a straight red depending on the ref and the other sides player reaction - that's the last thing we need in one off games.

These next game(s) are the most important of the season - don't give a **** about how attractive we play just that we WIN them. I don't think I can face a penalty shoot out but hope plenty of practice is in the works and at the end of a hard training session when they're tired.

I thought today they did everything tactically superbly for CC. It's up to the players to keep doing that and make up for last seasons disappointment.

I think CC will go with roughly the same team again on Wednesday only play 20 yards further up the pitch. Ff may be the only change. I think we knew Huddersfield would control the game today but maybe didn't expect it to be as much as they did. Especially seeing at how many yellows we picked up.

Do yellow cards carry or continue on from the season ? Wondering are any of our players near card trouble ?
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, you need a team....
