Ah then it must have been the broadcasters who added the singing in Paignton

Therefore, the apology was for the claims he couldn't back up - the claim that a Rangers director approved of the song in question. Your claim that he was sacked because he highlighted songs that were or were not sung has just been proven incorrect by the simple application of logic. Common Sense 1 Black Propaganda 0.

Still Nae condemnation o' the ones singing the songs then, xxxx wallopers. The piece on the Rangers director was part o' the story, and going on past experiences the story in all probability is true, just unprovable

The piece on the Rangers director was part o' the story, and going on past experiences the story in all probability is true, just unprovable Ah, you can't beat undermining the very foundation of British justice: habeus corpus, begone. Pure bigotry, of course, to presume that because an individual is on the board of Rangers he would agree with or even condone sectarian behaviour of any kind. You're still blind to your own failings while jabbing your malicious finger in other people's faces. The apology was not related to any singing in the stadium it solely concerned the unfounded accusation that that an unnamed individual from a named group was a bigot. All of the members of the Rangers board could have sued from damages. They would have won. The paper, quite possibly, would have been no more. However, the Rangers board members, very charitably, opted to accept the apology tendered by the newspaper. You'll note that Spiers has not repeated his accusation in any other written medium. Muppet.

Or do we have to condemn and apologise every time you bring it up? Away and f*ck yourself if that's what you think. And talking of apologies - where's the apology from you for the blatant lies - the Black Propaganda - when you said that Rangers fans got a journalist sacked?

Here is the apology:
“In a recent column for heraldscotland, Graham Spiers said an un-named Rangers director had praised the song The Billy Boys. He also questioned the willingness of Rangers directors to tackle offensive behaviour, and The Herald and Graham Spiers accept this was inaccurate. We acknowledge every member of the Rangers board is fully committed to fighting bigotry and offensive chanting, wherever it occurs in Scottish football, and that the club is actively tackling the issue. We apologise for any embarrassment that may have been caused to the members of the Rangers board.” For the record.
