The back four are starting to look tight , especially Wilson. I wasn't his biggest fan start of the season, but he seems to be coming on to a game. If Halliday and Holt get a grip of the midfield we should be ok.

I'm hopeful we can play well, have some doubts about dealing with the form striker in Scotland right now, but I guess it's all down to the quality of service we let them give him. If we dominate the ball like usual, Hemmings won't get much of a sniff.

I'm also wondering if Mark Warburton will be looking more closely at Hemmings today than usual.

Hemmings and Loy, 2 ex-Gers, make the Dundee attack dangerous without the rest of their side having to be great. By all accounts they've significantly improved in midfield since offloading Kevin Thomson but we should be on top in that area, though that doesn't mean much if you get it wrong at either end. It'll come down to how solid our central defence is and how many of our chances our strikers can take.

I suspect that says a lot about how much faith the manager has in Clark. Still, there'll be no complaints if he comes off the bench to score the winner.

Oh aye, there's no doubt Warburton rates Miller higher than Clark, and rightly so IMO. He's got a tough job to try and win a new contract, if not an impossible one.

I guess If your team is rarely on tv there's no point in asking.
