WBA Transfer Window - Final Day
Sorry out of country. Will edit main body of this when back next week

Bomberbrown, great name my all time hero. I agree totally Windows should be shut before season starts with maybe a small window for short term loans to cover for serious injuries ....... but not whole season loans.

Maybe an answer is to keep the windows with the summer window ending the day before opening day, after that you can still take players on load for cover only, not as stringent as the emergency cover loan "clause", but you would still have to show a justifiable need.

Looks like FIFA is to blame for all the "Transfer Window" chaos! Angry
So we can't stipulate our own regulations without upsetting foreign FAs, 'cos most deals now are with foreign Clubs.
But I'm sure we could have a (say) June to March period for Internal free trade.
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

No Drewks, I find that all the pain killers and alcohol I use to allow me to watch / monitor the weekly bus parking every Saturday numb the feelings. Hoping for better football in the coming weeks, to allow me to cut back on the weekly six pints (vodka, that is) and two boatloads of pills
