So, who do you guys want?? Obviously you seem to not want McCall due to his Rangers connections, but doesn't Lennon come with some baggage as a result of his tenure at Celtic? Personally I think Lennon is the better manager but while his Bolton days were fraught with behind the scenes problems he was unable to raise the game of what was a decent squad.

For me Lennon has come from nowhere in the race for this job at the end of the day we've got to trust Leanne Dempster she got the last call 100% correct so again we've got to back her in her decision to employ who ever she thinks is the right man for the job.

There's no doubt Lennon comes with added baggage but sometimes you've got to look past that crap and on the plus points you only have to look at his time and success he brought to Celtic. Now before anyone jumps off the depend I'm not saying HFC can spend the money gave Lennon but he will defo be able to attract decent players to Easter Road with his connections in the game.

And also if it pisses of hertz and rangers fans that he turns out to be the new manager of Hibernian F.C all the better GGTTH

I'd be delighted with any of mccall/lennon/yogi to be honest. I don't want another youth coach experiment. Want a solid pro that knows the game here and delivers promotion.

I personally like mccall and i think he speaks honestly as a pundit, and i think he did a good job at motherwell. Maybe he has enough on his plate currently though ?

Yogi would be a solid appointment, took falkirk up and did a great job at ICT but maybe needs a fresh move after being there a while. But bad blood from his last spell here ?

Lennon has played and managed at the highest level, and i think he would bring a lot of good qualities to the post. But Rod might be paying out a lot in fines to the SFA and you just worry he might do something daft.

Surely the main goal for Stubbs was to get you back to the Prem, and in that respect he failed!!  Sure the cup win was probably worth it in the end but I am not sure I agree that Leanne got it 100% correct as you are still in the Championship.  McCall or Lennon bring some decent experience of the Scottish leagues, maybe more for McCall as he has been involved in the game over the past few years up there whereas Lennon has been floundering in Bolton but I think either would be good appointments for you.

Sco your correct about Stubbs failing in his job in not getting HFC promoted in the 2 years he was in charge but he will remain a Legend amongst Hibs fans for lifting the curse of the HOLY GRAIL. McCall is not liked by a lot of hibs fans down to his rangers ties but if he gets the job I will give him the benefit but still prefer if he did not get appointed. Time will tell

I must clarify Stubbs' tenure at ER Stadium!! Most Hibs fans know that we would've taken 2nd spot easily and possibly chased Rangers a wee bit closer for the Championship title if the Hibs had not been involved in match commitments on 2 x cup fronts - we were a smidgeon off a cup double FFS!!! Who knows where we might have been if we'd captured the second spot fairly early before season end and would anybody on here disagree we've played out one of the most interesting footie seasons for decades!!! Also, as you say hfcbounce, WE WON THE HOLY GRAIL AND DIDN'T FINISH THE SEASON WITH NOWT - THE SCENARIO THAT MANY OF OUR ENEMIES WERE DREADING!! Now Stubbs is an all-time legend and good luck to him - I'm ecstatic, the same as thousands and thousands of other Hibees who watched a dream come true! Thumb up

To be fair did he fail, first season Hearts and Rangers to contend with lost out in play offs,Still had Rangers the following season lost out to a very resilient Falkirk in play offs,I wouldn't say it was a fail as the ask wasn't exactly easy

Stubbs did fail, but there were certainly things that didnae go his way. I liked him and he will be missed but part of managing is knowing when to get out,and he'd definitely had a 'fair crack' at it.

Stubbs may have failed to get us out the Championship in 2 attempts. But as mentioned he took us to the League Cup Final and won the Scottish Cup but most importantly he's dragged our club out the gutter and built a very good squad who can compete with any SPL Team.

Now we find ourself looking for another manager to hopefully take us forward from the great foundation which AS & his back room staff built ove the last 2 years. Reports that we've sold 8000 ST so far is encouraging let see if whoever comes in takes us to the next level.

Onwards and upwards and a massive thank you to Alan Stubbs your a LEGEND
