As I said, he just needs to have a pop, and that's all he has.

I don't hide behind a lie though.

It is a crass argument of course and is recognised as such by most fans and all Clubs, who appreciate the support they get from their fans, whether they attend the matches or not.
Remember too that the TV money Clubs receive is funded by the fans and for the top teams provides more income to the Clubs than their gate receipts.
I might add that fans of bigger clubs thereby subsidise smaller clubs through the TV money, e.g. 50K Rangers subscribers help Heart of Midlothian 20K subscribers, through both Clubs getting an equal share of the TV money.

both clubs dinnae get an equal share

You're a deluded fantasist, and your claims are pathetic and childish.

It is to be expected though. Any old hook to hang your bigotry on.

It's true that it's not divided equally, but Larry's point remains valid. Teams from the bottom 2 tiers of the league this season will have over a million pounds to share between them, largely paid from TV money. I doubt they would raise anything like that revenue from their own collective fan base. This season Hearts will get considerably more than Rangers based on league positions regardless of the affiliations of subscribers.

It was Aston Villa's struggles in Division Two in the late 1960s that first attracted me to AVFC, Fred.
My first match at Villa Park was in 1970, Aston Villa 2-0 Preston North End ... in the Third Division.
I moved from London to Birmingham in 1971 to support Aston Villa and I am still here, some 20 minutes from the ground.
So kindly do not accuse me of 'glory hunting' and as I have said previously, I have been a Rangers Fan since childhood.
As for Aston Villa being 'horrific', that is entirely due to the neglect and maladministration of the Club by its incompetent 'owner', Randy Lerner.
Same as me Larry although I was a native of Birmingham. First match for me at that time in the third division was against Notts County with over 40000 there and with my father having supported them since the 30's I was hooked. Your spot on with the Lerner influence and they desperately need a buyer to come in and then they will see an improvement. Sorry to get off topic.  Whistle
