I think the words you are looking for is "chucked out" or "voted out" of the SPL, but they were not relegated.

They were relegated to the bottom tier if the SFA/SPL had there way the relegation would've been to the 1st division

As far as I remember rangers wirnae chucked oot o' anywhere. The newco wisnae voted intae the spl after rangers went intae liquidation. That isn't the same as being voted oot. Tae be voted oot ye have tae be in and rangers wirnae as they'd been liquidated

I think so, no' that I'm too bothered.I just wish they'd understand they were not punished by going intae the bottom tier, they went bust and we're shown favoritism by being voted back intae the league as a newco in preference tae other clubs that had been waiting for years.::: incoming!!!

We were not punished as the rules stated we had to start over, the annoyance came from the sheer bile and hate from other clubs. Big difference.

Exactly. There's not exactly a queue of clubs desperate to get into the league system, and if you measured Rangers against any of the junior clubs in Scotland in terms of the quantitative criteria they look for in new entrants we'd trounce them. The same thing would happen to any of the clubs currently in the top flight and most or all in the Championship for the same reason. Favouritism my arse.

It's already been stated in this thread that the vote went against the transfer of SPL share to the new owner.

Had the share been owned by the Club Rangers wouldn't have left the SPL.

The whole "new club" thing is a nonsense that was put to bed by LMS years ago and more recently by the SFA, SPL and international football authorities. 

Rangers, quite rightly, joined the SFL in the bottom tier, not because they were a new club, but because the were a new member.
