Drewks, I just can't stomach today's game ..... That statement is probably a bit weak. I would go as far as to say I hate, loath, detest the modern game. The elite privileged club of six that the FA can not upset and bend over backwards to keep happy. The biased officiating, the leniency on the rule breaking ... Need I say more.

..... the massive amounts of money flooding the top level at the expense of lower ones; the huge OTT media frenzy when a megastar breaks a toenail ; the inflated egos that top players and HC's have all got......... the play acting on the pitch, the completely false 'kissing the badge' "loyalty" of players who would move clubs tomorrow for a better deal.....

...... passing square and backwards 90% of the time when there ARE attacking options (possession is everything eh, Mr Southgate?), the lack of players who can actually beat another with SKILL - remember dribbling with the ball, body swerves, etc?? Today, it's just a massive chess game, trying to out manoeuvre the opposition.

Give me a ladies football game to watch any day now. At least they try to go forward, and play with some intent and passion - not like the top level men players everywhere, who DO 'play like girls' in the old fashioned sense!

Whow.... THAT FEELS BETTER!! Blush Big Grin

I just can’t see it happening. I can see an Albion win but I just don’t see all the other results aligning to help us.

CC has done a great job, love him, but we recruited him too late and he was cursed by injuries.

He’s to an interesting summer of disassembling and rebuilding a squad based on new budgets. I have a sneaky the new squad will have more energy, desire and ambition than the existing one.

Stairs, it is less of an ask than THE GREAT ESCAPE final day.
We have to win ...... Not easy, anything less blows us out just like 2005
Blackburn win or draw
Preston need to not lose.
2005 -
Norwich had to lose ..... Check 6-0 to Fulham
Palace could not win .... Check 2-2 with Charlton
Saints could not win ..... Check 2-1 to Man Utd

We required all four results to align, tomorrow we only need three. Thumb up Thumb up Thumb up

Come on you Baggies!!!

Well this is going right down to the wire!!

Blackburn now 3-3 at Millwall, and they are all over them at the moment!!
Boro are having all the possession against Coventry, can they find a winner?
Sunderland now 2-0 up and in the driving seat.
And you have just conceded to make it 2-2!!

More changes to come for sure!!

How many time do you hear that one result can change a season. Well those games, we didn't turn up, those mistakes when back passing that lead to a goal, may be pointed to in order to make that point. Truth is the table doesn't lie, over the season we just weren't good enough.
