I’m glad some of you rate our squad. I’ve only been to one game this season so I’ll bow to your superior knowledge, but you’ve also said we need a big summer if we do go up, and I’d agree with that, including having a clear out of the Bruntys and the Morrisons. It hurts to say that because they’ve been great for us down the years since Tony Mowbray signed them, but time moves on and all that. Let’s hope for three points against Sheffield United. They won’t be easy and our home results have been terrible lately compared with our away results. COYB.

Leeds and Norwich winning that makes us 4 points off the action and makes this game a 'pretty much' must win starting line up looks strong though COYB

I had to check.
Today is our 17th home game and in 8 of those we’ve conceded first.
Of the first 7 of those (ie before today’s game) our results were W1 D3 L3

And we were outplayed and outfought in the rugby against Wales...

4 - 3 - 3 does not work at home, may have worked it out by the end of the season.

They get a goal up and flood the midfield - we are head scratching and shoulder shrugging

This is where a good manager pays dividends

Or not  Doh

A sub with 2 minutes to go - normal

Shocking home display again - only a 6 pointer
The roller coaster continues.

Absolutely dire, sloppy, no commitment, a tomorrow will do attitude, why go forward, when you can go backwards.

Pathetic absolutely pathetic performance that, completely void of all ideas all on the coaching staff. We’ve had about 3 games all season where we have performed well for a team with the supposed quality we have in it that’s not good enough. The home form is now a genuine problem. Playoffs at best and we’l get done over by Pulis.
Middlesbrough, Norwich, and now Sheff utd all must wins if we are to go up automatic and bottled them all
Two shots on target all game FFS !!

Interesting comments from Darren - "A game too far" - "the S U goalkeeper made super saves" - (well the 2 we had on target)
Our defence played OK today tbh
Our midfield and strikers were not working together. Barry, Livermore. Gayle, Phillips have not played as excessive amount of games recently. So the lethargy excuse don't quite make sense - well not to me anyway.
Harper and JRod may have a case, but they could have had a break if we rotated the squad a bit more and used our substitutes correctly.
Who controls the use and rotation of the squad to make sure we are fresh and effective?
Why is it our home form has been poor for weeks and our away form good?
Maybe it's the tactics that's being used that is the problem?
