I've been attending Hibs AGMs for about the past ten years and one comment that always stood out for me is a quote by Sir Tom Farmer which was, "We'll never hang out our dirty washing in public" and that is what Hibs normally do by ensuring any Hibs manager signs a confidentiality clause as required under Hibs contracted terms and conditions. Hence we'll always have rumours and counter-rumours covering this issue. That is how it works! I don't think we'll ever know the full details certainly in the public domain but I'll eventually find out the real story in a private context.

Heard we've spoke to stubbsy about coming back til end of the season......he's keen and would be easy to deal with.
But is he the right option at this time? I'm not sure and base that uncertainty on his time at Rotherham, the St Mirren job was embarrassing and, even though he professed there was no structure or proper support, I thought his tactical set up on the pitch was very poor. He'll always be a Hibs legend for obvious reasons but when one reflects back to his Scot Championship campaigns with Hibs, he failed!

Here we go again, after several years of annual manager changes it looked like we has found a settled management structure in Lennon and Parker but after the "lennongate" fiasco we might see the team under 3 managers in less than a season. It seems certain that the appointment for the 19/20 season will want to put his own stamp on the team and that would mean players going and being replaced. Knowing the way Hibs do business it means any player, or new manager, coming to Easter Road will not arrive until two or three weeks before the season starts.
I genuinely feel if there had been a desire on behalf of the board to maintain continuity and consistency they would have found a way to keep Lennon but it appears they found a way to get rid of him. A sad and embarrassing day in Hibs history that we might live to regret.

Aye! As a Hibs shareholder, I am not enamoured with a situation where the business is paying out a remaining contract (not small bucks btw!) to a manager but he is not gonna be working for said business!!! That is not good business at all and it is a pity there is not an impending AGM coming up to discuss that "financial hit" and who botched it up!!! How convenient!!

0762,
It makes me wonder just how much the fall out with Kamberi played in the outcome of the enquiry conducted by Rod and if there was any rumblings of dissent from the squad as a whole. As you say the "financial hit" could be quite substantial and together with sums paid out to sacked managers over the years reached in excess of 7 figures. Lenny brought thousands back to Easter Road the board had better be wary that they don`t drive them away again.

Listening to bbc Sportsound tonight, it looks like Paul Heckingbottom is coming in but looking for a Scottish assistant to support him. It won't be Eddie May!

Heckingbottom might not be a bad option. He is young and had some good success at Barnsley. He was shafted at L**ds by a club in turmoil behind the scenes, so I would discount that job.
