Aye, good point El Car. How long would he last though? He'd be booted sky high right from the get go.

Shocking performance, shocking team tactics, shocking decision-making by the players, shocking refereeing decisions, well taken goal by Holt.

McCoist needs to seriously consider his position. Even he must understand that that was unacceptable.

SPFL2 (Championship) 22/11/2014, Heart of Midlothian 2-0 Rangers

That was a feisty match in which Rangers were lucky to only have one man (Smith) sent off, as Miller and Boyd were yellow carded for similar lunging, studs up, tackles. The dismissal meant it was 10 v 11 from the 20th minute. Up to the dismissal I could see Rangers winning the match, but afterwards it was a holding exercise that failed, due to a goal from a ricochet and a needless penalty. On the tactics, it was too many long balls to an isolated Jon Daly, hoofing tactics that were as fruitless today as against Hibernian.
Hearts kept the ball on the deck for the most part and consequently played better.
The points gap is now 9, so there is a lot of catching up to do.

Didn't get to see the match today as it turned out but sounds like that was a mercy. No chance of us winning this league now, and it seems like players who should have known better have let us down.

Big name players let yer club down big style today El Car- some pretty shocking tackles. That said, yer team looked the better in the first half, despite being down to ten men. However, second half, Hearts looked totally in control, especially in midfield and never looked like losing the match. As for Boyd and Millar- you guys should get rid of asap- total wage thieves.

I agree with that TinTin apart from last ten mins when we woke up and started to use the advantage,I never knew miller was playing until his tackle and Boyd has been shite all season,a lot has been said by a lot of Gers fans regards McCoist signing policy being poor and this far there correct.

He hasn't been scoring the goals some expected but Boyd has been one of our best players this season. He's genuinely added a lot more to his game as an all round forward and has been great at bringing others into play. Problem is we don't need 2 forwards doing that and neither putting the ball in the net. Clark really needs to be starting.
