From what I've been told today hibs will receive around £120000 for Stubbs. I'd love O'Neil at Easter Rd but maybe a step to far with the Northern Irish job & contract just been sorted.

On the other hand I'd like to throw a name in the pot which I think would be a good move for Hibs & the manager Tommy Wright from St Johnston he has a proven record in the SPL he's won the scottish cup and had decent results in Europe with St Johnston. I think he's taken them as far as he can with the resources and financial backing but he could take hibs forward I feel with LD  giving him the same backing she gave AS.

Thoughts anyone ?

Re your 1st para, Hibs r still negotiating for compensation. Possibly RUFC trying to take him 'on the cheap'? I also suspect the tache will be 'well into these negotiations' with Leeann to thrash out the best possible deal for Hibs FC.

A couple of sources saying hibs are set to open talks with neil lennon about the vacant managers post.

Skybet has got Lennon at 3/1 interesting appointment if it was to happen I never thought about him TBO but bookies are normally fairly close with their predictions.

It's ultimately all in the interview and how Lennon views 'the way forward' for Hibs. I think Leeann D is a 'shrewd cookie' when it comes to this stuff. So she'll start with the supposed strong candidates and see if they can impress her or not - see how many ticks are marked up on her check list and then move on or be impressed!

Apparently lennon is very interested and rod and LD are keen to hear what he has to say. So i guess we will see.

I'm not sure how the support would take to him,He was a narky wee bastard as a player and trouble seemed to follow him around although i accept not all of it was his fault.

Its an interesting shout and he is a lot more qualified for the job than most of the names mentioned.

I concur with that view! I think the manager's persona and manner matter to Leeann, George Craig and the tache. Therefore there has to be a common consensus amongst them to favour such a manager. I think he has other strengths to match up to this post but it's the other questionable stuff which may well result in a rejection.

According to ladbrokes they have suspended bet on Neil Lennon becoming Hibs next manager he started at 14/1 now he is at 1/4 interesting.
