leicester City's man of the match

The more I think about yesterday's game the more I feel we didn't play that badly. Just undone by
1) A good Leicester team full of pace and confidence. 2) A set of incompetent officials 3) Our Achilles heel of 2 backs played out of position being exploited by tricky pacy wingers. In a weird sort of way at least it was entertaining but won't say enjoyable as we lost.

Just a couple of points
You can moan about the odd decision going against you, But this has to be the worst officiating i have ever seen to go against one team, 3 Blatant penalties not given, yes 3 !!! Just seen Goals on Sunday another penalty they pulled up which wasn't mentioned was McCauley being grabbed around the neck and held so he couldn't jump and then pulled to the floor. Evans how did the ref not see that his shirt was pulled of his back , Fletcher flattened yet nothing given then throw into the equation that there 2nd goal was offside, We could have been Barca and lost that ........ How are Leicester getting away with it ? Remember last week against C.Palace, Palace had two stone wall penalties also turned down against them. Now don't get me going about MOD bias towards Leicester, Jermaine Jenas said although all those decisions went against us thought McManaman dived for the penalty despite having a boot down the back of his calf then said. " So I suppose that evened everything out then" ![]() Lineker *Quite right" ![]() Yes we conceded three at home again but should have been 2 we should have had 4 or 5, hang your head officials. Makes you wonder just where we may of been with a bit more luck. 2 of Everton's goals should not have stood, Not hard decisions for experienced officials to make. I got up this morning happy we played quite well............ Then I watched goals on Sunday ............. ![]() My one concern is that both Full backs with their pace were targeted, Both caught out and both stopped crosses coming in, This is still down to our manager but nothing much is going to change in that respect. But more optimistic about our performance ![]()

Having just seen the highlights on MOTD I'm completely blown away by how blantant our penalty shouts were in real-time, let alone slow mo replays!
Even McManamans pen was a soft pen but still defo a pen. How the ref can give that one and not the others is beyond me. Anthony Taylor isn't fit to ref in the Prem, and this isn't his first poor performance this season either.

How many more seasons in the prem will we have to suffer before we have one where we are not cheated by referees. I can not think of one season yet where we have not been conned out of points by blatantly bad decisions, is it because we are Albion or do other of the so called lesser teams suffer the same problem. Have we not received two written apologies from the head referee in the past because of this repeated problem. it has not helped us, in fact it has probably made it worse. We get yellows where others don't even coincide a free kick, we get players fouled at vile park and our player gets a red, I could go on and on but my blood pressure will not cope with it......... oh for fair play and video refs.
My love for Albion will never die, I can not say the same about my love for football, struggling to get enthusiasm to attend games do not even watch tv games unless it's free and us or england are playing. Will always support my country in every sport no matter how poor they are.

I pick the best games to go to. I thought Rondon was very impressive but Dawson was atrocious. The worst part was as soon as they equalised we all knew we'd lost. On Berahino, I didn't think he was that bad he was just playing too deep, he barely got the ball in any attacking positions whatsoever. Lambert and McManaman both looked quite good when they came on and we've got Man Utd next, I'm confident for that one with our recent record against them and the fact that they can't score. On the bright side I saw Adrian Chiles before the game.

We should stop moaning about the ref and focus on the lack of chances we actually created. Apart from the Rondon goal and the penalty we did get, what really good chances did we create??? I can't think of any? There were half chances like the one for Lambert at the end, and the individual bit of skill by Mcmannaman who bent it just wide of the post, but in general, we are too pedestrian and too predictable going forward. Leicester on the other hand looked dangerous every time they went forward, created more, and for that reason arguably deserved the win. My old man summed it up perfectly in a text to me last night, ‘pace beats sh*te’. Wonderfully accurate, and amusing, and he didn’t even watch the game!
The good old full back argument has raised its ugly head again. I personally haven’t rated Brunt for 3 seasons, he is a championship player that we are accommodating into the team for some reason, too slow for Midlfield, no positional awareness for left back. Although, credit where it is due on his 200th PL appearance for the club! Dawson, is a centre half and he needs to move on for the sake of his own career, as he is no right back and his game will suffer as a consequence. We have a world cup performer (Gamboa) and a Belgian International LB (Pocognoli) in our squad, FFS just pick them Tony! If they are sh*te, then let them prove it to us and we will happily shut up. I thought Poc was very good at the start of last season, and would have thought he would be Pulis’ cup of tea, but obviously not. Morrison needs to start at home, so it will be interesting to see what Pulis does. If he sticks to 4-4-2, Morrison should play in the middle instead of Fletcher or Yacob as they are too similar and Mozza has the engine to go box to box. I would personally like to see us play 4-5-1 formation with a midfield of Mclean, Yacob, Morrision /Sessengon, Fletcher, Mcmanaman. We sacrifice a striker that way, but Mozza or Sess can play just ahead of the midfield where they are most effective, and to be fair, I don’t see much of a partnership between Beharino and Rondon. How Mcmannaman doesn’t get a start is beyond me?!? Every time he plays he looks a handful! Would welcome peoples thoughts on the above. I will also post this as a separate thread.

Agree with most points Danny apart from the ref.
He and his assistants were shit and failed to do the job they are paid to do. Never mind moaning I'm up for tar and feathering the useless c**t. Oh and Dawson is a better RB than CB in my opinion but he is s**t but to be fair him and Brunt are played out of position and are both slower than a tortoise with no legs.
