Baggiesteve,

Didn’t realise his win ratio was that low, I work with a clay head and I got the impression their form since January put them very close to the top of the table. Robins appeared to be a successful manager but the truth might not match the hype.
Saw that about Gerrard, not keen, awful at villa, sacked in Switzerland, some success in a poor Scottish league, did will to win a title with the gers but win ratios in a two team league don’t really count. His fame and reputation might encourage signings and inspire players but does his actual managerial skills and tactics stand up in a tough competitive championship …. I’m not sure it would.
Don’t know who is available and my total apathy to the modern game, the bias and the closed shop means I struggle to raise any interest.
Love the Albion, always a baggie, but until the ruling bodies do something to stop the game being bought and sold by rich clubs my interest generally will not return.

We're still in Easter season, church-wise, so I'll put this here: well done to the women's team for winning a cup. May not be the biggest deal in the women's footie world but a great achievement all the same and they've worked hard for it.
