Much, much better in the second half and probably deserved a win but couldn’t find that clear cut chance. Smith has to start next game, he is so much more effective than Ugbo or Lowe. Armstrong looked solid and will benefit from a weeks training with the team.

We do desperately need to phase out most of these players. Ihiekwe and Valery I just do not rate even if they are a better option to Iorfa and possibly Palmer.
These players aren't good enough to find the forward pass either it's an immediate resort to backwards passing at the slightest of pressure. We're mid-table because that's where consistently inconsistent teams end up. It's an improvement on last season. However, these baby steps aren't adequate enough to propel us forward.
