How long do we have to put up with Posters coming on here to basically abuse people?
Not content with abusing regular posters he then turns his sights onto mods. If he cant post in a controlled manner then surely the problem should be removed, even for a period of time.

Be interesting to see how the new signings are intergrated into the side, and how quickly. Midfield and central defence are a must.

You'd think so, but we've always had alternatives in the squad or from the development side. The problem has been that McCoist refused to give anyone else a chance, no matter how badly his first choice players were performing, and McDowall has shown few signs of altering that policy beyond dropping Black for Hutton. Will Newcastle's youth get any more of a chance than our own? And if a group of youth players on loan get straight in the team we can expect the exodus of our own talented youths to continue - and who could blame them for getting out when they stand no chance of ever making the step up with us no matter how good they might be.

I agree we need change in the team, I'm just not sure we'll see it yet.

Speaking of our youth players, we gave Hearts a doing in a Development League match. The Hearts side included 4 guys from the Hearts team that beat us in our first Championship match. Predictably this just highlights where we've been going wrong all season.

I totally agree with you on the lack of chances, but the support has to bolster some of the blame too.
They are not generally known for patience, when it comes to youngsters. We tend to get on players backs very quickly.

That's true. Aird gets pelters, and while I think he's definitely stalled he's not going to get better from having his own fans undermine his confidence.

Not a transfer as such, but related: I see ex Rangers scout Ewan Chester has joined my local club Brighton.
