If we come away from here with a clean sheet statesider it will be a positive .
Charlton for me are among the top 6 teams ...if we do come away with a clean sheet it will stand us in good stead for places like Ipswich Pompey Sunderland

Away games get draws and home games we must take 3 pts every game ...he is going to have to change tactics for the home games though ...he can't play like this or a few bad results and he's digging his own grave !

Time for another change DM get it sorted

A point away from home, first game of the season, wasn't pretty, but at least we are off the mark

Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.

I’ll take that from the opening game. Defence was good today, midfield did ok but we have to get more movement up front so I expect that will be the area we will see new players come in as they get up to speed. Clean sheet is the positive and the fact we could have won it in the end was a good sign that we continued to work.

About what I expected based on the starting 11 but DM is going to have to be more attacking at S6 or there will be calls for him to go by the end of September.
But that said maybe his plan is at least a point away and use the hopefully positive home crowd for Fortress Hillsborough.
Overall I thought we played the better football but can see us getting clogged a lot trying to do so.

I'll take that !!! Not happy with the tactics or the line up but a point on the road and a clean sheet at Charlton is a good start that 2 weeks ago we wouldnt gave come near too !!
Dm has to realize though this is Wednesday and anymore of this crap at home will not be tolerated !!
First off all play the best players and let them gel because pre season is over and he do t have time to bed players in ...they either hit the ground running or fluck off to the bench or the slab !
Goal scorers needed and we've signed Gregory so get him in with someone who is going to pull the trigger like Johnson .
Untill shodiplop is fit we can forget this 4-3-3 bollocks as well !!!
Doncaster and Fleetwood at home next 6 points is a must if we are going to send a statement out for promotion .

18th in the table Maddix will be chuffed !
At least we arnt bottom looking up today is another positive .
