Transfers
Hibs might take him ....Killie is a good shout but his wages may be high. I suppose he actually has something pre sorted or he wouldnt leave
We'll have paid him off. He's fit so he'll get a game somewhere.
Crawford and Murdoch both out on loan, Robbie to Alloa and Andy to Cowdenbeath. Both lads need to be playing regular first team football, so it makes good sense.

No info yet on whether they're full season loans or not.
Glad to see Murdoch out on loan, if he comes back anywhere near committed as McKay we will have a fantastic young player on our hands.
Crawford's loan is only to January.
Murdoch's loan to Cowdenbeath now also confirmed as 6-month term.

Short loans like these are a good shout, I reckon.

Danny Stoney the latest to be let go:

It is the natural order of things.
Scored a lot of goals for the youth teams but I think there's only room for him or Hardie at the moment.

We were never going to let him go for 500k!!  In the end Preston paid 1m for him anyway.
I think we can all be delighted with the transfer business done for Rangers by Mark Warburton and David Weir :

This could have gone in the Raith Rovers matchday thread, but as it covers the approach to all games I am posting it here.
Mark Warburton is well aware that the squad is vulnerable to injuries, but is prepared to use Academy players if required.

Rangers FC - Warbs: Consistency Is Key

While once again acknowledging the tremendous backing from the home Ibrox support, Mark Warburton has insisted he expects the players to perform in the same manner regardless of the venue.
