Heard about this last night. Both Buxton and Ramsbottom will probably be in trouble with the FA for bringing the game into disrepute.

Buxton 1-1 Stourbridge

The Bucks welcomed playoff chasing and FA Cup giant killers Stourbridge to the Silverlands. Stourbridge went into this game sitting comfortably in 3rd knowing that a win could move them up to 2nd. Buxton went into this game sitting in 7th place and on the back of a 2-0 victory over Frickley Athletic and knew that a win could move them up as high as 4th.

Buxton got the game underway and it only took them 5 minutes to open the scoring. Liam Hardy put the ball into the box across the face of goal and Niall Doran was there on hand to slot it home. Both teams had chances but it wasn't till the 44th minute that Stourbridge managed to cancel out Buxton's goal, when Luke Benbow out of nowhere scored a spectacular goal when he was given the ball just outside the area and he curled it into the top right hand corner.

In the second half, Stourbridge had the better of the chances but could not capitalise on them. Buxton managed to hold on to the draw and gained an important point in the hope of making the playoffs.
