A club lacking ambition and a former manager obsessed with DMs & defenders and an unwillingness to look overseas have all contributed to where we are now. The midfield has been a problem for a long time yet nothing serious has been done to address this and the balance in the midfield. We just hold onto long-established players and bring in players past their best or squad fillers.
