This is ridiculous! How desperate are they to give this game to Liverpool. An offside goal that Mignolet was clearly never going to save and then a theatrical dive by Salam to get a penalty. Poetic justice was served. By the way, watching this on BT Sport and Phil Thompson is the "expert". What a joke, he is the most biased bloke out there. C'mon you Baggies!!

As for the VAR, it is a good system in theory but it needs a lot of tweaks to make it work perfectly. In Italy it is a joke, in Germany it ranges from decent-to-good and in England it needs to be good before it is brought in permanently.

So far so brilliant but I just have to say about VAR that this system, as it is, will ruin the game. It's a complete farce. I know it recognised there was nothing wrong with our third goal but that was feckin obvious to everyone so why the hell was it reviewed? Great with the system that judges line calls but, beyond that, please no.....even if that means we win or lose
