BaggieSteve, I totally agree. There've been too many of these types of games this season. Anyone who thinks Pulis will turn us into a watchable side next season is living in a dreamworld.

I did warn you all we'd lose these last few so called winnable games Bournemouth will do us as well and I don't know where Lawro gets his confidence in us from we're 7th in his prediction league table. However Saddo missing two pens FFS is that really Pulis' fault? Come on people If you want to lay blame then saddo gets my vote. I've had enough of this kid ship him out asap. No Pulis didn't miss the penalties but he is responsible for setting up and training a team with zero creativity through the middle and centre halves playing as full backs with the inevitable inability to go past a man or put in a decent cross. We had 4 shots on target yesterday - 2 penalties, 1 free kick and a header from a free kick. Nothing from open play yet again.

Come on Zinman we've been bog average in this league almost every season bar two exceptions Roy and Clarke and i still think Clarke got lucky.
The facts are these players ain't good enough and thats down to poor recruitment. I can't see any manager doing any good with this lot and if any manager started going gung ho trying to attack with our ageing zero pace and very little skill pensioners we'd get skinned alive. We used to do that when we first got back into the prem hence results like 2-5 Arsenal 0-6 Chelsea 0-6 Fulham 0-5 0-4 liverpool birmingham. You can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Oh and yes I agree with someone else here. Who else but Watson would have scored. Everybody we sell comes back to haunt us FFS! Never works as much the other way round

My thoughts for what there worth ..... played okay generally, some good out balls, some good passing interchanges, some good overlapping, Sess scared them to death, some good running out from the back. Some poor passing, poor vision, a large number of crosses that were more passes to Gomes, trying to play Barcelona tippy tippy intricate football around their box without the ability to pull it off, low confidence making people to scared to shoot, not enough pace so to pedestrian when counter attacks possible. Some poor naive defending from corners. A lot of players did not seem to interested, on the beach going thorough the motions, Saido's pens prime example half hearted and although reasonably well placed, no power and no anticipation of a rebound hence the wayward leg swing after the first one.

Verdict .... a game we should have won comfortably especially with two penalties against at best average opposition that muster one real shot on target and one hopeful flick goalwards that hit the post and rolled in

People on this site have blamed TP all season for our style and performances, Watford came to ours and out Albion'd Albion. They gave us possession, let's us play with it and shut up shop ..... it works and TP is not the only person to employ this tactic.

Where to from here ..... six million dollar question .... Another squad overhaul and hopefully some pace, guile and entertainment for next year but probably more of the same, with the money involved must clubs see survival as the be all and end all.

Still sitting on the fence leaning towards keeping TP.

Berahino and Salomon should have come off at half time and Roberts and Leko should have been given a chance imo. As for Berahino taking the ball off Gardner in order to take the second penalty. Some say he has balls, I say he's arrogant. He also doesn't give a toss anymore as he will be gone at the end of the season (if someone is stupid enough to buy him)

As for TP, well it sums him up when he says om MOTD I hope he steps up to take the next one when we get it.... REALLY?? FFS. Hopefully they will both go. I know gate receipts don't really count that much anymore with all this money coming in but season tkt sales will drop massively if TP is still here next season including mine. No one wants to watch the dross being served up.

Pulis didn't sign him,
He was already a sicknote and useless before TP came to manage us.
He was also always Injured and had a poor scoring record at Everton.
But don't let that get in the way of you blaming TP for Anichebe being a waste of space

Unless my maths are wrong then, based on results going 'our' way, then we could be mathematicaly safe this weekend.

...plus, of course, the smugness of seeing Villa relegated.

You know what? We're not safe, not by a long chalk.
We have Arsenal and Spurs next, both away, so that's a big fat zero points, and it only needs two of Sunderland, Newcastle and Norwich to put a run together and we are in queer street.
It could happen.

Even worse, that looking at the league tables, had we won the last two home matches against Norwich and today, we would be in 10th place, however we could be in deep s..t if we continue to lose.

I can't understanf TP's remarks - is he watching another game?

To all these Pulis lovers I suggest you go and watch a few of his training sessions then you`d realise why we struggle to score
goals, its absolutely pathetic as nothing is done on the attacking side of the game.
