Good on you for hammering it back slops. Ive just got back. Playing with ten men is never easy. Playing as long as we did is even harder. We gave the ball away too cheaply once we went down. Some players stopped working as hard as thy needed to on the defensive aspect. It seemed as if at 2-1 we didn't know whether to hang on and frustrate or whether to stick to the game plan. In the end we did an amalgamation of the two and thus the mistakes arose.
One thing for certain they tried and we had a handful of chances. One at 2-0 to make it 3 but al habsi produced a number of decent saves. Had wells managed to round him we would be telling a different story. At 2-2 or 2-3 wells hit the post and put his hands on his head instead of chasing the rebound. Would have been a different story.
but its all ifs and buts. End of the day they played well enough. Not spectacularly well but enough and scored more goals than us, thats what counts we dust it off, a one off game, we recover and move onto brighton.
I really feel that after today we do need 3 new players and I'd say that they have to be our own players not loans, even if its a deal until summer with a view to another year. Striker to ease it for wells, preferably someone bigger but not a donkey, more rounded striker. We need an attacking mid option not a winger but someone who can play all along that line. And for me we could do with a cm for huws role, to ease him but then again dempsey billing pato could do it, just depends what role dw sees them doing.

It broke that annoying win-one-draw-one run we were on. Go for the win on Saturday at Brighton.

Don't think we know anything less now Theo - good times
Listening to the game last night and even up to the end it sounded like we may snatch an equaliser - each goal that went in pissed me off big time - good game though

Just watched the highlights on BBC Sport website. If that's a red then I'm a monkeys uncle. I think Lynch would have got back to cover it. Ridiculously harsh. Lads goes down far too easily for me as well. Apart from the 5th the goals were preventable but part of it was due to what JJamez said. Think Wagner will work on that now on the training grounds for 10-11 situations and work on defensive solidity and plugging gaps in midfield. Vydra is really too good to be a championship striker but he's in that no mans land where he's too good for the championship but not good enough for the premier league yet. Agree with JJ again about signings, another creative along the lines of Pato who I'd say (barring Whitehead who's been injured) that Pato is turning into player of the season so far. Quality striker needed but I think that a permanent signing could wait for summer and I wouldn't mind a loan from a lower league premier league club to keep nakhi fresh, I'm thinking maybe Chuks Aneke from Arsenal, Bamford (bit ambitious), Jerome Sinclair from Liverpool or a third choice premier league striker who needs games as a stop-gap. He obviously wants a CB as he knows 3 isn't enough for his rotation policy and Davidson looks like Chilwell's good form is starting to bring the best out of him. Times like these are maybe to chuck someone in and see how they do? Charles, Wilkinson etc.

I'm not too sure about Sinclair at Liverpool. What did Klopp say about him this week something along the lines that a player has to learn to work hard rather than think about how much he can earn in his 1st year

Right. Listened to Oggy last night. Was thinking ah the Hogg red card opinion would turn out to be biassed, blinkered, town tinted specs sort of situation. No! Never a red! Can't argue that Lynch would have caught him, he wouldn't have. But for a red, it would need to be a cynical attempt to stop him. It wasn't. Clumsy, yes maybe. But cynical, absolutely definitely not. Yellow at most. Is it worth challenging the red? Doubt it though! This team seems to be as close as a few tweaks and the odd one or two additions to being a very good team. Can't wait for next season. That is when I predict it could get very exciting!

went last night thought for 20/25 mins the best i have seen town play for years, foul never a sending off,but reading scored from the free kick so who knows what the result would have been? understand why they brought whiteghead on but stopped town posing a threat , might have been worth leaving it for 10 mins or so,if wells lob had gone in instead of hitting the bar all square at 3-3 and we could have gone on to win on pens - mind you pretty cold but great support,
defo need some one different up front , last 10 mins of this game miller, hudson and lynch all up front with wells in midfield was score or go out and we just got hit on the breaks with not enough cover

He's only been given a 1 match ban, so the ref deemed it not to be serious foul play - so it begs the question, why was it a straight red then? I'll stick with my earlier comment that I made last night about the blind mouse with the whistle. Was he touched/fouled? Yes. Did Vydra go down like a sack of coal? Absolutely.
The FA nerds finally loaded this onto YouTube so we can all see what happened (maybe).
