Well, if you want to over-exaggerate, it's up to you. Nobody threw rolled up bits of paper at him either.

If I gave you a violent push in the back I wid rightly be done for assault, it disnae have tae be a punch, and whatever you want tae call it as soon as he lifted his hands tae an opposition player it's a red card, unless of course ye play for rangers

'A violent push in the back. . .'? Doh

Handbags at dawn, handled well by the ref I thought.

You can cry all you want about it, but your need to portray it as GBH-esque assault on an innocent bystander betrays your all-too-obvious desire to paint everything Rangers do as BAD.

As such, your opinion is easily dismissed.

That's was a straight red card in the eyes of many refs and that covers any level of football!!!! Schools, juvenile, junior and it should apply even more so in pro football - the rules are clear, just read them and be enlightened re lifting one's hands to any other opposing player!! We won anyway but it would've been good to see Waghorn picking up his 1st suspension of the season and out of Rangers next match due to his sheer stupidity. Three ref officials clearly observed that incident and did f####k all about it!! Thumb down

Fyvie should've been ordered off too if the ref went by the rules
