I think we could get even lower than the Newcastle match for this one.

Can't remember the actual numbers but I was at the games for the two lowest at Leeds Road, pretty sure they were north of 2,000 in the old 4th Division but they were League games. To be honest who cares about this competition at this stage or until you get to Wembley? We could probably get a bigger crowd if we played them at Emley or Brighuss Town. The big clubs don't want to open their stadiums for their U18's, which is why they offer to play all their games away. Yes I know they call them U21's but it's not hard to see the age or the experience of the players they put out.

I think they're worrying about the numbers now. They say you can pay with cash tonight.

Huddersfield Town Manager Lee Grant has named seven changes to his starting side this evening ahead of our Vertu Trophy Group F tie with Mansfield Town at the Accu Stadium; 7.45pm kick-off.

Having exited the Emirates FA Cup at the weekend away to Bolton Wanderers, this evening presents a chance to progress in the Vertu Trophy, with Group F finely balanced heading into the final round of group stage fixtures. Making changes where possible, the only four players to retain their place are Lasse Sorensen, Ben Wiles, Marcus Harness and Josh Feeney.

Stepping back in between the sticks is Owen Goodman, who starts his second game in the competition after keeping goal against Harrogate Town last time out. Seán Roughan and Radinio Balker join Lasse Sorensen and Josh Feeney at the back, with Balker in line to play his first minutes of the season having been an unused substitute on four occasions to date.

Joe Taylor and Dion Charles have been recalled in attack, with Marcus Harness and Ben Wiles joined by U21s Cameron Ashia and Dan Vost in operating behind.

Jacob Chapman has once again been named on the bench, and he is joined by Club captain Ryan Ledson, Ruben Roosken, Mickel, Miller and Bojan Radulović, who all started at the weekend. Jay Sway and defender George Iorpenda are the final members of our U21s that are involved in tonight’s squad.

This evening the Terriers remain without 10 previously confirmed injured members of the First Team, with Antony Evans (knee), Marcus McGuane (groin), Herbie Kane (groin), Jack Whatmough (calf), Will Alves (foot), Zépiqueno Redmond (knee), Murray Wallace (foot), David Kasumu (calf), Leo Castledine (shoulder) and Lynden Gooch (calf) sidelined. Unfortunately, both Joe Low and Alfie May have also been made unavailable for selection this evening through injury.

There's no way I'm driving up through the rain to watch it either.
