We could and should be a top flight club, finances not withstanding. We should also play attractive entertaining football as has been our DNA down the years. We have lead the way in many aspects of football and society changes.

We are a great, family orientated club, let's get back to those traditions.

Hola Carlos, bienvenido a The Albion, te Derek mucho exito.

If the English Spanish translator is correct:-

Hello Carlos, welcome to The Albion, wishing you great success

Great post 4eva..... not 100% sure about the 'Derek' in there though!  Blush

Thanks Drewks, for spotting the error, stupid spell checker, I have amended the original post and sacked Derek.

Pass it around the back til everyone falls asleep. Try to win a free kick and hope to score from it.

You'll be bored to tears.  Whistle

He did get us to the Play Off Final, but when we changed managers recently and Carlos was available, there weren't many voices shouting for us to get him back.

I hope he does alright for you, but attractive football and "Attack, attack, attack". Nah! Rolleyes

Cheers Snooty, Cheers Amelia,

I was looking forward to being the West Midlands Barcelona but you have poured a big bucket of cold water on my hopes and dreams, I have been crushed like a grape Whistle Whistle Whistle

Seriously though, thank you for warning us not to expect to much and to rein our hopes in a little. He is still a young manager, still developing his style and tactics, I hope that maybe he can develop a style that suits our players and our club, a style that gets us the wins coupled with the entertainment we have craved for so long now.

Good luck to you guys for the rest of the season, not withstanding your game against us

Being called a snake by many terriers and being sacked quite quickly from his next job (when it was suspected it would be a stepping stone to managing Forest when Steve Cooper eventually gets sacked) may have given him food for thought on how he behaves in this one???

What always got me was for someone who was a thinker, researcher and analyst, why did he spend so long not having a plan B???

Lack of Plan B has been our curse with most of our recent managers. I hope he has learnt!
