I'm not really a Carlos fan, but some of the stuff before Xmas was good to watch like QPR at home for example. I don't think this squad is truly what he wants and I'm still inclined to give until November to see how it really goes. A proper preseason and some form of transfer window might help
What o would say is I ain't got much hope for bromby, but if he found eiting or his team did then there is a glimmer still, a dull glimmer but one none the less.
I'd rather go into next season with cc and have a chance for him to come up with proper setups than the bit parts we currently have over relying on bromby and Phil to hire someone because we'd end up with heckinbottom or jack Ross or something like that ie uninspiring
I personally think that we will see some South American transfers and some real left field signings
Weve been linked with Rhodes obvs and I can see how it works and how we can make a team play to his strengths.
We've been linked to a player at Stockport who is an out and out wing back and apparently is one of the quickest players going, we know dd is going so I'm up for that sort of signing. There's been a few other rumours but can't remember them
I'd probably be looking at ebou Adams at fgr, a bit like O'Brien
There's going to be 8 to 10 new signings. The ball is still in schindys court but he'll go and I think stears and elphick will go too, we'll probs keep Keogh on a player to coach role as a 3rd or 4th choice CB and I'd roll with it tbh, probably cheapest of the bunch too which people will moan about but for 3rd 4th choice I can accept it being cheap.
I'd personally sign 1 goal keeper and make it a good one like a John Ruddy, Use what we got as understudies. If Schofield goes on loan Chapman and giousu should be adequate benchers, There's still emergency loans for gk

We Hibbies know all about them, jjamez. It's Plan A or Plan A with knobs on. They never got as far as Plan B. Although Ross is doing OK (no more) with Hibs in 3rd currently. Neither club can really afford anyone better.

I thought Ross was employed somewhere, it was more a case of I saw him on Sunderland til I die and thought there that he was uninspiring. I just feel it would be something of that Ilk and not someone who would thrill.
As for smithies, I hope you've heard something there snoots, I'd take him, he should never have been made to leave in the first place

We really are getting the band back together.
Holmes
Ward
Rhodes
Smithies
Keogh(sort of)
Might as well try and talk Gary Roberts out of retirement
