The Irish journalist, Tom English, gave a very good breakdown tonight on bbc Sportsound of the official statement from the SPFL and more or less similarly concluded that the whole presentation was effectively a 'kop out' and strongly refuted the lame legal excuse that was used - no legal grounds to push it further - dismissed by English as a lame excuse!

Nobody wants the current incarnation "punished". Just the leagues rules applied to the fraud, cheating and faulty registrations used when "rangers" won those trophies.....the ones they still claim to this day. It really pisses me off how the league thinks it can treat fans like idiots with this. Topping and McKenzie can witter on about how they were payments to trusts not players, but why did they need side letters idemnifying them against tax liabilities then ?

The bottom line is that player registration rules were deliberately circumvented for years to evade HMRC and the SFA,when other clubs have fucked up in that regard in one game they have been punished.

Nowhere else would this be happening. Even UEFA strictly enforce rules on player registration as countless clubs have found out.

They cant twatter to their hearts content, the highest court in the land has decided they were wage payments to the players that's why the tax is due.

the legal opinion is based on the 5 way agreement the SPL as was agreed NOT to strip titles.

Part of the official review should be who drafted that and why ......that's the cheating by the athorities bit.

It's the utter contempt shown to the whole Scottish footie community by the authorities that are supposedly running the game up here - so irritating to listen to it and observe this shit that is effectively a 'cover up' and 'closing of ranks' on the subject Thumb down

Judicial review from celtics shareholders. Already underway apparently.

IMO they hold firmly to their convictions and formally scrutinise the whole questionable process of allowing this kinda fraudulent and corrupt behaviour to pervade the 'game' up here and also condemn the lack of proper all round action by the relative Scottish footie authorities that I regard as 'not fit for purpose' when it comes to this kinda shit - which means a 'root n branch' clean up of the game up here from top to bottom but it would clearly have to be a gradual process in order to avoid the consequent turmoil in Scottish footie if an inner 'coup' was enacted through a vote of no confidence in the people who run the game up here and have their own little clichés and favouritism towards certain footie clubs and influential individuals!

that's the problem its seen as a celtic vs rangers issue
It isn't and never has been its a "sporting integrity" issue
You lot and your clubs should also be involved.

I'm very disappointed in Ann Budge, I had high hopes of her but she bottled it like the rest.

3 sets of cheating by the SPL/SFA involving dead co

Ignoring the discount option scheme, which rangers had admitted guilt on totally.

The Bryson "incorrectly registered" evidence, which allowed LNS to give the verdict of no sporting advantage.

The resolution 12 Rangers European licence, we now know that dead co accepted this bill was valid and late by feb, (from court evidence), so Dead co in the form of Alister Johnstone either lied to the SFA or the SFA ignored the direct breach of the rules.
