. We have one (1) fit centre half ffs

Ok but ffs, why not recall your best prospect CH who is currently on loan?. Give the guy a boost to his confidence.

Raith playing Ryan Stevenson in goal tonight.......why not emergency loan? ( I know they have reached their ordinary loan quota but does that affect an emergency one......not to have a GK is an emergency in my book.....joke rules  Doh ) We are within the rules but that doesn't make it right / fair IMO.

They very nearly got logan bailly from celtic tonight on an emergency loan but it fell through at the last moment.

Fair enough eh! Rolleyes I'm sure Yogi will 'pull in' an emergency replacement soon!

“I know some people will moan – I know that. I could moan about other clubs spending too much money, going into debt, administration and stuff like that. But I don’t. “I could moan about clubs going out and buying nine players in the January transfer window, but I don’t. We could have done that, but we might have stretched ourselves. This club runs the way we think is the right way – we knew the emergency window was an option."

The manager has spoken.

True Jim, not disputing the rules but that doesn't mean I agree with them or what Lennon has said. In response to his remarks.....

I think we have already moaned about certain other clubs going into admin, being poppy thieves etc but it is water under the bridge and not current.  They are now a "new mad Vlad free  club". We have to wait and see whether getting 9 players in January will cause a problem ......if not good luck to them. Clubs always run as they see fit. Already rumours about sevco, Dundee United, Kilmarnock etc near admin so don't think any club in Scotland is safe and free totally of debt, ( thank you Sir Tom)  If we fail to go up and get knocked out the cup against Ayr we will lose a good deal of funding and knowing what we have spent for promotion should make our figures interesting next season.......not as though that is going to happen.   Wink

....and where will Lennon be Huh

Add Dundee to that 'list' of Scottish footie clubs that are under threat of administration AGAIN! Apparently £7M in debt and 'in trouble' and this whole problem has indeed been an issue with lotsa footie fans for years esp when the 'success factor' is attached to some of them and they are still allowed to practise on the transfer front etc without any capital!

Aye 0762, lack of TV / Sky / BT money which is awash in the English game will take its toll. Don't know how most clubs in Scotland survive on the gates they get. Huh

How many of those 9 players hertz have signed are anything other than short term loans ? Serious question likes. The hypocrisy with the criticism of hibs on this is unbelievable.

If we fail to go up lennons gone. But I'm pleased to see him sticking up for us,in the past too many hibs managers just took any auld shite from opponents and the press without a peep.

If we do go up Lennon , I think, will go anyway.

Nice to see the attitude of Bikey .....playing for 4 months as an amateur for Hearts so not getting any pay at present and avoiding a 40k payment to his old club ( Levein's plan no doubt)  The lad has ambition so good luck to him and obviously fancies his chances of proving himself.

What is the difference in rules between...." a loan"  and an "emergency loan"

In the past we have been where Hearts are with so many short term deals and loans.....it doesn't work!........wheres Wattie when you need him Wink
