Massive three points. Safe surely now?

We just reverted back to Pulisball for the last half hour and look at the difference.
Sess seems to be the only player who can get us up the pitch, once he goes off its just aimless hoofs to nobody. ![]()

Jeez H Judas priest and jumping jehosiphah Why on earth do we do everything the hard way 3-0 up and cruising WTF happened there? Any other team would have either shut up shop or annihilated the opposition 5/6 - 0 soon as it went 3-1 I could see we were going to make a ball ache of it. In fact even at 3-0 at HT as stunned as i was I had a nagging doubt. However Thank F we saw it out this time or I swear i would have gone home tonight and kicked the tv in

Albion, eh?
We did our level best to bottle that one again in the second half. That complete and total idiotic complacency from Olsson out of nowhere at 3-0 set the cat among the pigeons, and though we were unlucky with the second (never a free kick in the first place, both players had feet high, eyes on the ball, crashed into one another), you could see how much the players were rattled. Fair play to them for weathering the storm in the end, but a better or more in-form team would have punished us, as we've been punished in the past. It's dead simple: don't switch off, don't concede that first goal, you don't end up with backs to the wall in stoppage time. Otherwise, we played our fair share of good football tonight - credit to Rondon, who turned in easily his best performance as a Baggie so far - and with a bit more luck we could have scored a fourth and put it to bed. Overall a deserved win which showcased our strengths when we set out to attack, and reminded us of our weaknesses with errors at the back. One more win should see us safe for the season, all being well. Rondon was fantastic. Saido looked back to nearly his best, Sess was awesome and Dawson great. Those who knock Gardner must admit the man put a shift in.
Not bad, not bad at all. God knows what happened in the 2nd half. We need to change the tea bags!

Agree rondon's best game, but what a difference a fitter and more committed Berahino makes.

Yeah, Saido back on form was a really nice surprise. Maybe/probably just putting himself in the shop window for summertime, but if he can keep this up and grab a few more between now and May then I'll remember him a lot more fondly for it when he goes. Good lad Saido, keep it up.

Turns out Rondon is actually Cyrille Regis and Sess is Laurie Cunningham. Great all round performance especially the first half, hopefully we can put a run together and sneak into the top half.

We look so much better without McClean in the starting 11 so I just hope Pulis keeps him out
