Aye,a player no ones heard of in the EPL takes a sore one in the Scottish championship and its damaging Scottish fitba? I don't think so.

It was a bad tackle but the game here has challenges like that every week and they mostly get let go where elsewhere a card would be right out.

How long is oduwa out for ?

Black was a thug at Hearts. He shat himself against his peers in the lower divisions, it was well documented.

So unless he's either a household name in the UK, or a Hibs player it's deemed ok in your eyes?

Not at all coop, just I think stating its damaging to the game here is overegging the cake. McCulloch injured a young Albion rovers player not so long ago,was that ok in your eyes ?

The issue here was the ref letting challenge after challenge go, then booking a Rangers player for next to nothing. Inept is being polite for his display tues. And had that been a Rangers player making that same tackle i would expect a card.

The refs in scotland are abysmal and do damage our game,no argument from me there. But the hatchet man targeting the gifted player thing is an old,old story and not exclusive to scotland. On sportscene at the weekend i saw terrible challenges going unpunished. Oduwa will get better at dealing with that aspect of the game in time,it's probably part of the reason he was sent here.

It was just a disgusting challenge full stop, and Burchill has been the only person to my knowledge who has used the gifted player analogy to defend his player.

It seems it's only Rangers fans who are not allowed to be outraged.

The tackle was a disgrace, the referee's inaction was a disgrace, and Burchill's ham-fisted defence of his player was a disgrace.

If people don't think that such behaviour damages Scottish football and it's image then they're clearly f*cking idiots.

I love a numpty who'll rant all day long about how Rangers and Celtic have killed the game in Scotland, but leap to the defence of the talentless thuggery that keeps the real footballers away.

Misinterpreting what people say trus, that's no' like you Whistle . I've seen nae posts on here that dae anything but condemn the tackle, and just because folk dinnae agree wi' ye disnae mean they're " f*cking idiots. Why would that one tackle against a previously unheard of player damage Scottish fitba' anymore than any other tackles that fly in week in week oot, and aye, ye heard it on here 1st, some o' them committed by, Ssssh, rangers players.. El car, nae body on here defending thuggery but it's no' exclusive tae clubs playing AGAINST rangers. And if ye watch other national leagues on the telly there'll be tackles like that nearly every week,so tae say its damaging Scottish fitba' is IMO just a tad OTT,wid a bad tackle in the Spanish 2nd tier reflect badly on the likes o' Barcelona or Real Madrid , na, dinnae think so, I think your getting caught up in yer sense o' self importance in the grand scheme o' things

It would reflect badly if it was Barcelona or Real Madrid playing in the 2nd tier.

You provincials don't get it: we are the big news. We are the club that gets reported on. Column inches.
