Rangers playing the ball about far too slowly. Warburton will up the tempo for the second half.

Agreed, trus. And a few too many wayward diagonal balls.
That'll do, but I still think we need some work at the back - we'll be masters of our own misfortune one of these days.

That was a tight, competitive match in which both sides had several scoring chances, won for Rangers by a superb free-kick from Tavernier. Rangers back on top of the table. That makes it 6 consecutive wins under Mark Warburton, which equals a record under Bill Struth from 1920. Let's see Rangers go one and many more better, I am sure the great man himself would want this to happen. Competitive game , feel Rangers just edged it but Hibs need to take their chances. Superb free kick which deserved to win any game. Although I would dispute the free kick that led to the goal I felt the ref had a good game and Hibs fans cannot bleat about bias.
Enjoy your evening guys.

Poorest i've seen Rangers play this season. ref was awful first half the amount of timewasting , at throw-ins free kicks etc. Very dull first half and we looked devoid of ideas at times in the 2nd. Halliday was very poor today imo. That all aside good 3 points and if we can keep winning even with poor displays then the season bodes well.

Good free kick goalie culpable should be saving those

I expected the tempo to improve in the second half, but it never seemed to happen. More difficult to do that against a team set out to sit deep and hit on the break though. Also thought the pitch was a bit on the dry side for slick zippy passing.
Hibs were feeble up front, maybe that's a sign that the opposition are no longer confident that every chance they create will be a goal. Our own self-confidence breeds self-doubt in our opponents, it seems. The three points was the most important target today, and now we have them we're already six points ahead of our "main title challengers" after only three league games. Long way to go, sure, but Mark Warburton wanted us to set a marker for the season, six wins out of six does that.

Fred i Sit behind that goal, that was unstoppable maybe the wall could have been set better, but a well executed free kick. Sometimes you have to win ugly. and the place was bouncing again.

Another free kick from Tavernier that would have graced any game in any league in any day.
Credit where and when it's due - this boy has an eye for a dead ball.

It was well hit but no keeper should lose a goal from that position
