Take the 0-0 and move on. Can't see where the first goal is coming from with this midfield and Pulis' tactics. Wish I had stayed in bed.

I hate to use the cliché   ‘I told you so’ …….

As you all know, whilst virtually all you guys were fawning over the appointment of Pulis The Messiah,  I was totally against and voiced that opinion many times on this forum.

Many treated my opinion with contempt particularly Squirrel who thought I was talking ‘bollocks’ to quote him.

Pulis has been a very lucky Manager/Head Coach with Sjoke, Palace and us last season BUT, he hasn’t got a clue on how to set up a team if its not full of 6’6” centre halves.

To achieve something like 35% possession against a newly promoted Championship team like Watford is disgraceful and unacceptable.

God help us against the better clubs but, with Pulis in charge, we will need some of His miracles.

Angry

PS: Dear Lord, could the the first 'miracle' be Pulis walking away from The Hawthorns taking his crap football with him ?

Fair comments, Baggieman.
If anybody thinks they can guess the starting line-up for next game, get down the Bookie's.
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

One thing I will say, if the starting "wingers" from now on includes Gardner or Morrison I'm not even going to bother watching it on a stream.

There is no point having all these quality strikers if they are relying on long balls from Olsson as the only service throughout the whole match.

Looked boring just watching the BBC internet commentary. Again a team picked with no pace and no width but this time Pulis has no excuses as he chose not to lay those players. Obviously time to buy another few defenders or goalkeeper.

Desperately need that new spark of creativity in the middle. We completely lack an out-ball after winning possession, so it kept coming back at us over and over through the first half. Frustrating to see Lambert and Berahino - and later, Rondon - so isolated upfield. None of them can make something out of nothing; we need that quality service to them.

Baggieman, If it wasn't for Pulis we would be playing Bristol City next week not Chelsea, so I think Squirrell may have a point Smile

The last two games our midfield has been dreadful. Need to be playing the wingers. Look unbalanced. Missing mulumbu so need to get someone in to replace him.

Positives - back 5 did well. Rondon looked useful.

We need to keep saido

That would be the same Mulumbu TP let go?
And it's easy for the back 5 to look solid when they have another bank of defenders in front of them who rarely venture forward.
