Watching the game in a pub near to my flat here in Carbis Bay and I'm the only baggie here.
The game is following the expected pattern and we deserve to be losing because we have been poor overall. Our ball retention has been especially shocking at times. The change of formation from 4-4-2 to 4-1-4-1 should have been made much earlier as well. Yacob on for Gardner at half time please. Yacob as the holder with Morrison and Fletcher as central midfielders, Berahino and McLean out wide and Lambert upfront.
Nice neck of the woods, Josh. We holidayed in Camborne/Hayle a couple of times when I was a kid back in the 70s.

Last year, three nil at half time this year two nil, a thirty three percent improvement, onwards and upwards.
Five live waxing lyrical about how good shity are and how bad our tactics have been so far ..... any comments

Love the optimism 4evaa
Not been a great opener and I'm sure TP will make changes. We desperately need a mid-field of any sorts
I can go a step higher than Aston Villa

I'm a mile away from you, Josh. Just up by St.Ives RFC.

City just too good for our lightweight midfield, though.

Is that our fans or theirs booing McClean?

Was hoping to catch a sluggish city on the hop, if we had played them Saturday may have been different, they have seen most of their main rivals slip up and that has focused their minds. Still plenty of reasons to be hopeful.
Poor from TP going 442. Chester doesn't look comfortable at RB and I don't think Dawson is good enough at CB, easy decision would be to swap them around but I can't see it happening because Dawson is the taller of the two.
Gardner is not good enough whatsoever, yes he is a trier but he is appalling technically and wastes possession shooting from silly distances. Hopefully he won't be near the team when Pulis gets in his preferred midfield. As a side note, who is this sky commentator who keeps saying we play in black and white? Its basic football knowledge the bellend. ![]() |
