Half-time : Alloa 1-4 Rangers ... so far, so very good (apart from conceding) ... and we hit the woodwork twice too.

With good reason it would seem Fred!

Halliday is having a great game, Ifo we are guilty of anything it's maybe overplaying the ball at times.

We could be doing with shutting the back door properly but it's all good if we're scoring more than the opposition. Miller getting there again and you've got to hand it to the guy - every time he looks like he's past it he picks himself up a notch and make himself look indispensable.

If you go up to the premiership will he be indispensable or is he just looking good playing against (sorry Alloa) crap??

I'll assume that's your senility kicking in and remind you he also scored against Hibs and Peterhead this season (he was suspended for the St. Mirren game). It's not about looking good against them, it's about being able to finish chances with some consistency, and he's the only forward player we have doing that so far. I would still think we'd need a replacement for next year if we go up, but I wasn't convinced he had enough to produce goals for us last season never mind a year on from then, so who knows.

SPFL2, Sunday 16/08/2015 : Alloa Athletic 1-5 Rangers

That was a comprehensive victory, which sees Rangers top of the table after two games, so let's stay there !
Rangers scored three more goals in the second half, two offside, one onside, which was given offside, whilst Miller's offside goal was given onside ... the balancing act ?!

1-5 will do me.

Thought Chopra's goal was well taken.

He showed a few flashes during the first half, i can appreciate a decent opposition player, regardless of what side he plays for. Cant help thinking what a wasted talent chopra was.
